**Official 3D Mark 11 scores**

I wasn't capped to multiples of 30 it just crippled my score in centered mode.

Its odd as my score thats in the list was ran in centered mode and didn't give me a poor score - but that was before I reinstalled windows.

I can only presume running in centered mode doesn't let the drivers detect its in full screen mode, where as stretched does.

SLI 680 lightning @ 1350mhz 7246mhz/7038mhz on 304.79 drivers
2700k @ 4.8ghz

Score P17865
Graphics 23820
Physics 10651
Combined 9612

Only a mild o/c as the cards cannot cope with the heat while inverted in the new case. Need waterblocks nao!

edit: this was run in centered. Is there a difference?

New SLI GFX Score leader :) As for the centered mode, I found I got more points running it stretched.

Great GFX score.

Cheers, actually hitting 90c on..rightmost card which is at least 15c hotter than when the cards are oriented in standard way. Had to dial it back a bit.

Upgraded my psu from the ocz zx 850w and have had an improvement in memory overclocking in particular. Don't need extra volts for the +615 o/c on the primary, where I had to add 30mV for anything +605->+630 before.

Can't wait for waterblocks now ._.

When I did the 1.21V bios, I was struggling also with temps. The cards throttle back at 70c I believe (not 100% on that) and I lost a few points because of it. Water blocks is deffo the way to go now...Just need to top the bank up first :(

Thats some nice scores on the 680 LTG's!!

Have much headroom left with the voltages?

If the 7970 LTG water blocks are anything to go by, you're in for a long wait for the 680 version (Hint OcUK/EK get some damn stock!!!) :(

Core still has headroom for primary card as 1350 is at +56mV and I can draw +93mV max (without using artmoney to edit afterburner memory ;)) Mem for primary card was run at +615 on stock volts. however anything over +630 atm seems to cause slowdown (think it's drivers).
Can't remember core volts for second card, likely higher as it doesn't clock as well. Mem was +20mV (/100) for only +515 offset though.

EK told me 'end of august' and aquacomputer haven't replied yet. My ideal would be for watercool to announce a heatkiller lightning with a custom heatkiller backplate. That's not going to happen :(.

aaaaand you've just beaten 8 Pack :o

Edit: Just so you know the Lightnings have an aluminium plate covering the memory, vrm's etc... you can leave this on with a universal waterblock and just add a fan to cool the rest of it ;)

Purely on graphics grunt tbf. My cpu is an epic bottleneck. I get the same fps on the physics and combined tests whether running 1 or two cards!

I did think about using universal blocks, but I wasn't sure if the floor fans would be able to keep the mem and vrms cool. Plus I can't find any universal blocks I like.

Will be top for a while me thinks :)
idk, only 8 points above 8pack. I'm sure if he wanted the top spot back he'd take it lol.

For the fans, I think Lian Li make some PCI bracket mounted 120mm fans for such situations ;)

Not push that 2700K higher? voltage dependant you may well manage well over 5ghz which should tip you over the 11K mark on physics.

Does the LN2 bios on the 680 LTG offer anything? Its pretty much a dead end on the 7970 version unless you have access to the specially coded AB Extreme for higher voltages, iirc the highest anyone has taken one is something stupid like 1.8v for an 1800mhz core.
