HT does make a difference and I am sure you can make 8K. No need to go for big IMO, try 4.6 on your CPU with enough VCORE to maintain it. Make sure you have your window open (freezing) and go for it

I tried everything to beat my scores and to the point of the Mrs moaning at me because I had my computer set up by the back door (with it open) and used her monitor.I was freezing and managed to get 30 points less than my SLI score and around 100 points less than my single score. Frozen and gutted and a headache from the Wife
I will get to it when I upgrade...I am losing faith with Titan being close to the promised 85% of a 690 though but if it is, I will be getting 2
I have also found with my nvidia cards I have hit a bit of a wall myself, thats why there are a lot of posts for my AMD cards.
I think the performance of the Titans will be around 65%-70% of a GTX 690. Its easy for nvidia to claim 85%, in theory they could claim up to about 130% better than a GTX 690. All they have to do is pick games with poor or no SLI support/scaling. Having said all that I will keep an open mind until I see some reviews and go from there.
If they are as good as nvidia say Gibbo put some aside for me please.
My biggest hurdle is the Mrs. I promised her 2 weeks in Florida again but I can't afford both. I spent a fortune on my comp last year and overtime at work is slack (stupid recession). I could slap them on the never never though but I don't like doing that.
Time will tell.
