**Official 3D Mark 11 scores**

Cheers :) I will leave mine where it is and not edit the top scores. I just wanted to know I could beat them all :p

Very nice jumps in scores. Made a big difference getting that 3770K clocked up.

Thanks. I think i could have gone further, but i don't really need a huge overclock. This seems to be a good spot with good temps across the range.

Yep. It is all about games and if they play well...Happy days

Good news for Lightning owners on both camps from having a look around XS!!

GTX680 Lightning: I've seen some bench runs on water, 1420+ boost!!

R7970 Lightning: Also found a few screens showing a fully unlocked afterburner pushing 1.4v/1400mhz, hopeful the chap will share his wisdom with me :)

You really should update the scores. If I was new to this thread I would want to know what 2 MSI lightnings could do to help my buying decisions.

My next build sometime next year will probably use water to a greater or lesser extent and again it helps a lot more if I can get the most up to date info from the tables.

Out of all my benchmarks in the tables my favorite and probably the most useful is the one for a single HD 5970. It comes last in the table for 2 GPUs and is never likely to do any better. It also shows that although its a very old card it still offers good performance compared to some of the modern single GPU cards. This could help someone who is thinking to upgrade or not.

Don't be modest Gregster we need the information in the charts.

I started the thread and don't want it to look as though I started it for me to boast. It was nice to break 20K though (and beat Scotty :p)

+1

The more information the better choice someone can make.

Don't worry about that, it'll give people a target to try and beat :)

@ gregster keep looking over your shoulder :D

Added my score and it is there to be beaten :)

Time to fix your sig :)

Once again very nice score and if I'm honest that score
will the there to be beaten for a long time me thinks :D

That is unless you decide to crank up that chip of yours
and do a 5Ghz run :p

On a more serious side has it improved FSX ?

I will fix my sig today :) Also, a big thanks for your help on clocking to 5.0ghz. I now have a stable 24/7 5ghz CPU thanks to you :) Ran prime95 for an hour anyways.

I have had my computer in and out and back apart so much recently, to do another run involves me taking the monitor cables out and unless somebody beats my SLI score, that aint happening. If I leave the monitor cables in, it does lower the score.

I have not played FSX yet as all the tweaking and proper cable management is still on going. I have not played anything yet :( but I look forward to once all the settings/cables are perfect, I can play some games.

Thanks again for your help in making the magic 5Ghz Neil.

Now if I get a bottleneck...Meh!!!

lol You know when your EVbots arrive, you will smash my score up. I don't think putting my lightnings under water will make any difference as temps with the A/C are good. Somebody may find a way of upping the volts to 1.3. I read somewhere (can't remember where) that it is possible but this may have been wishfull thinking.

Whats the voltage limits with the EVbot? To be honest until recently I didn't know that they did anything extra special...I have seen a 680 classy with EVbot running at 1.495v :o

Have a scout around the MSI forums and xtremesystems, bios editing on the 680's is rife at the moment, shame the same can't be said for the 7970 :(

I did look for you PGI as you helped me with my water cooling but I culdn't find anything you didn't already know about your LTG. Have you tried to email MSI and say "You are happy to void your warranty" or would you rather keep it in tact?
