**Official 3D Mark 11 scores**

Thanx for the replies guys.......great fun :) .

Just a heads up for anybody getting sudden resets with two (or more  ) Ti Classys . I know most of the guys here are aware of this but, for those puzzled like I was, these cards draw a lot of current/power and I had odd freezes and black screens sometimes. I found that my NEX1500 PSU, even when set to single rail (133amps!?) could not handle my X79 plus Classy cards.
I had to connect up my "old" AX1200 PSU single rail (not the AX1200i) with an "ADDtoPSU" card to continue benching and get my 3960X past 5.4. and cards up to 1385/2150.

Anybody with better knowledge and/or more powerful PSU has probably got past this but it was a quick fix for me.

I'm not dissing the NEX1500 but maybe the new 1300W PSUs have got better output.

PS
The AX1200 was only connected to the four 8 pin connectors of the two Classys, rest of setup handled by the NEX1500.

Can push cpu to over 5Ghz but seemed to have an adverse effect on my physics score for some reason for me ?

Graphics score seems pretty good but time for a new cpu me thinks, all in all for a £300 card im chuffed to bits with the performance.

PUZZLED

I noticed on a couple of submissions around the web that "Anisotropy" (nope, haven't a clue either ;) ) is set to 2 against my setting of 1. Both scores are valid but I was wondering if it makes a difference and is it realated to vram size?

Whenever I use "2" 3Dnk11 locks up on the first test every time..........I know, don't use 2. :p

Just curious if it enhances scores or not. ;)

Thanx

Something I have not heard of before. Where would you alter that bud?

I paid the 15 quid to get the Advanced 3D11 (I know, sad  ) and on the advanced tab you have various sliders and menu items to mess with. The Anisotropy slider is greyed out until you select Anisotropy and you can alter the value up to 16. Set it to 2 then go back to Trilinear and it stays at 2 but greyed out. I am just curious if anybody knows if it's an enhancement, or automatically set due to the graphics card installed?

I have the advanced edition also but I believe when you run the test, it will default back to a standardized test that everyone has to use. Unless of course I am wrong on that but this is how I have believed it to be.

What bios version are you using on your Motherboard bud?

On the RIVE I've stayed at 4403 with the 3960x. I have 4702 but have not bothered yet. If I plug my 4930 in I might change it......not checked up much on bioses with the 3960x still behaving.

Got a BE now so might start checking bioses on that with my 4930 plugged in :) .
