**Official 3DMark 'Fire Strike' Leaderboard**

Just a quick big up to Kamz for his awsome clocks on that 7950. Well done mate.

Fantastic score to Whyscotty on his 7970/'s. Deserved top scores and wondering if Kaapstad can nick your spot?

As anyone who knows me, knows that I am a fan of Nvidia but seeing these bench scores and not just here but in Vantage and Heaven, AMD have done seriously well this gen.

Hopefully the shape of things to come and long may it continue :)

A nice thing for a self confessed Nvidia fanboy :D to say.

seriously :)

Now all that remains is for them to sort their bloody CPU's out and give Intel some competition.

Guilty as charged Dockie, only as ive dropped down the charts a few places myself. Dropping down like a cliff richard record.:D

YOU MONSTER :(

Now all that remains is for them to sort their bloody CPU's out and give Intel some competition.

I'm seriously hoping they can do something special with SR and release it on AM3+. i'd hate to jump to intel but if it comes out on an AM4 board then ill be going with an i7 instead.

Thinking the same thing, if they don't come up with something that trumps thier own 3/4 year old architecture (of which i'm running at the moment) before to long it will get to that time of me needing to replace my Motherboard, and i will not be looking at AMD unless they actually have something worth getting, the FX-8350 while better than the bitterly disappointing thing they had the audacity to call; Bulldozer?!?!? its still no better than my ancient P-II x6.

I'm ranting in gregsters thread, but there are times when i feel like Bulldozing into the AMD board room and slamming my fists on the Desk. Hitler stile!

End rant, will say no more, cary on.... :)

One thing i've learned with the FX cpu's is, dont think of them as 4/6/8 cores and compare them to intel/p-II's, think of them as 2/3/4 cores with HT, then they kinda make sense.

Although their IPC is still pretty poor compared to the others, which is why i'm hoping SR is a revelation in that department.

Anyway, yes, sorry Gregster. :)

much better than before which was at 935/1350. I guess the 13.2 beta 5 helped a lot.

before

Score4916
Graphics Score6268
Physics Score11571
Combined Score1413

now

score 6353
Graphics Score7258
Physics Score11572

Nice score Matt and awsome clocks on your 7970. I added custom cooler just for you and if anybody else has one, let me know :) No biggie either way to add that.

I have decided to do a seperate score for GFX cards only and put them into sections (everyone can have a little competion with his fellow card holder). So for instance:

Top 10 7970 scores

Top 10 680 scores

Top 10 7950 scores

Top 10 670 scores

etc...

Thanks Greg i will love you forever. (homo)

Good idea btw. Seems like AMD have the upper hand atm. Is that likely to change once nvidia get some new drivers out though?

All scores added and updated. Stop knocking me down the scoreboard please peeps :p

Im alright, I have got the second highest GTX 680 (the highest on air) lol.

I don't think it will stay that way for long.

One good bit of news, if the Titan is supposed to have 85% the performance of a GTX 690 all you got to do is add another 35% to my GTX 680 score and the Titan will be pushing nearly 12000 on this bench.

New 2 card score

Score 14494 with AMD Radeon HD 7970(2x) @1275/7500mhz

Intel Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition Processor @4.9ghz

Graphics Score 18408

Physics Score 17697

Combined Score 5058

Not sure how long this will last but move me up to number one. The stock intel cooler doing us proud. :D

I can definitely better my score, graphics score is at, or very close to its maximum limit.

Going to run this tonight. My target is 8000.

Try running 1325/7500 this will give you a lot more than 8000

This bench also does not like it if you go to high on the mem volts.

I used the above setting and got 8736 but I should do better once my system has had a chance to get cool. Watercooling on the cards seems to help a lot on this benchmark.
