Its a shame i won't be allowed to have mention of the Accelero in the OP. ;)

Yeah on the stock intel cooler atm and its getting hot in here, lets keep on all our clothes. (no homo)

Gonna try and sneak in a quick 5.ghz run. If i don't report back in five assume ive died in a house fire.

Will be able to get higher once i get some decent cooling in house.

Core temp over heat protection kicked in and shut her down as temps reached 95c. Guess ill have to leave it there for now.

Another run, higher clocks. Sorry, gregster. :)

Looks like the video memory clock makes quite a difference in this benchmark, might finally have to start overclocking it to remain competitive with other 7970s.

Just a quick big up to Kamz for his awsome clocks on that 7950. Well done mate.

Fantastic score to Whyscotty on his 7970/'s. Deserved top scores and wondering if Kaapstad can nick your spot?

As anyone who knows me, knows that I am a fan of Nvidia but seeing these bench scores and not just here but in Vantage and Heaven, AMD have done seriously well this gen.

Hopefully the shape of things to come and long may it continue :)

Hats off to you, sir. :)

Nice score and nice graphics card in sig. I'd imagine you will catch me or surpass me soon.

I can only try. :)

Great score you have have there, I was actually surprised when I saw it. :)

It also made me realise that the memory clocks are going to be significant, and it seems to also suggest that 7970s are going to be pretty hard to beat, at least going by gregster's score and looking at his rank in the 3dmark 11 thread.

I should also mention that I think we have the same card, the MSI 7970 OC edition. It seems to be a pretty decent overclocker too, based on the clocks most seem to be getting with it.

Memory clocks seem to make quite the difference 100mhz extra netted me an extra 150 in the Graphics and 250 in the combined, my 7970s only do 1800mhz before they start throttling - shame both my cards seem average on the cores as well...means i'll never be able to compete with Matt, Scotty and Kapp :D

Nice thread, didn't know this was out yet. Gonna try this (:

Thankyou :)

I don't think physics count at all on these benchmarks

I also agree that Physics isn't so important in this.

Hats off to you, sir. :)

No sorry bud and fantastic score. Thanks for the compliment :)

Nice score Matt and awsome clocks on your 7970. I added custom cooler just for you and if anybody else has one, let me know :) No biggie either way to add that.

I have decided to do a seperate score for GFX cards only and put them into sections (everyone can have a little competion with his fellow card holder). So for instance:

Top 10 7970 scores

Top 10 680 scores

Top 10 7950 scores

Top 10 670 scores

etc...

If you have a 7990 or 690, you can disable one of the cores and make it like a single card. I will get on this tomorrow :)

I was having loads of issues getting this to run, make sure you update Futuremark System Info here http://www.3dmark.com/support/systeminfo-updates/

Thanks for this but didn't help my cross/tri fire issues :(

Upgrade perhaps?

Only joking but something not working for sure. TB with 3 cards had a horrendous score (3K iirc), so maybe something linked to that?

Still haven't found a fix for this yet, tried numerous driver versions :/

Score 14385 with AMD Radeon HD 7970(2x) @1255/7400

Got xfire working by changing to 13.2 beta

Now all we need is for nvidia to get their drivers sorted.

Very nice mate :D

13.2s bit helping here :|

Whyscotty is quite safe congrats on some good performances.

Unless I get my HD 7970s on water I have got no chance. I recon I can add a few hundred more points but it won't be enough to catch Whyscotty.
