A 3770k at 5.0GHz should be matching a 4770k at 4.7 on the Physics score I would have thought.

I think using unofficial overclocking mode (with powerplay disabled) in afterburner will fix it while benching firestrike.
 
Giving the 280X a final run before it's returned to Overclockers to be replaced by a 290 (What I should have brought in the first place)

Typically no artifacts running this one.
Temps on card were 53c running fans at 100%, as opposed to the normal 65-70c when on auto.
