Since I built my new setup at Christmas virtually all I've done is overclock and run benchmarks.

I've almost reached the point now where there isn't much left to gain so gonna start using it for what I built it for.

Ya, pretty much spot on. We buy this expensive gear and then bench it but reality, we bought it for gaming, so can't blame you :)

That run was with the ram running at 2200/ 9-11-10-28-1T

Something else is a miss.

Yep theres a bug with the 290 drivers in single card mode on this bench. Physics score is low as is gpu score lower than it should be. Myself and reece noticed this. I believe he has a fix for it. Single card issue only, crossfire is unaffected.

A 3770k at 5.0GHz should be matching a 4770k at 4.7 on the Physics score I would have thought.
