I've never bothered turning off the internet or disabling steam as my 3dmark is through steam.
Yeah might be worth a shot. I didn't think you could exit steam with a game/app running but ill give it a go.
I used to go into task manager and turn off everything i didn't need
Only really helps with the physics tests though to be fair, never tried pulling the cable for the net mind....surely it isn't worth much?
