It seem's like i've hit the wall on what my card can do now. its taking quite a lot of volts to get not a lot of MHz. i cant get much above 1200core stable on 1.3 and AB wont let me go higher (along with my wallet).

@Gregster take a look at post 728. it got me back into 3rd on top 7950 scores (just), but it'll be the last from me. :)

Whats your asic's quality on your 7950 and is it a 8pin 6 pin version?

More low to midrange cards should enter, as its all mainly all highend..

People can check to see if their cards are performing properly if we had a decent number of people entering with low and midrange cards. Come on guys who cares about high scores:)

Agreed but as it was only released on Monday, it will take time.

66% and its an 8+8 card but i've only got 8+6 connected, the second pci-e cable is only 6pin.

When I first moved from Nvidia to AMD I was told that over 1200core you needed to mirror the voltage 1/1 as in 1.2v for 1200core etc, and this may hold true for lower asic cards like yours but have you tired to run 1200 sub 1.162v?

i've just tried it now running 1.162/1.2v, and i get a lot of artifacts on screen. it also crashes too half way through the second set of tests.

UPDATED, Sorry for adding a new Benchmark every 5 mins. I think I'm addicted!! Highest Fully Aircooled Rig? I will never get 1st so am getting whatever glory I can, lol.

8671 with AMD Radeon HD 7970(1x) @ 1280/1870 and volts at 1287 and Intel Core i7-990x Processor @ 4.290mhz

Graphics Score 9548
Physics Score 14602
Combined Score 3774

Still not OCed my CPU to max yet but for such an old system (older CPU at least) I am quite happy with this score and saw 8500 as my max. Gonna push it some more now. If you don't here from me my computer has blown up,lol.

This benchmark is proof that there must be something not quite right with the Mattix Platinum. I don't think it's just the X79 and watercooling, I think it's something else in the design.
Kaap, what do you think?
