**Official 3DMark 'Fire Strike' Leaderboard**

For some reason when i push 1200+/1500, i'm getting little spikes where the gpu usage is dropping from 100% to around 95, and my score is dropping to around 3k. is this not enough volts on the core thats causing it to drop? i'm using 1.25/1.6v for 1200/1500. what would be a max safe voltage for the core on a 7950?

Unstable overclock, probably core. Whack another 0.006v on.

So it worked? Nice. Good score as well. Third place 7950 is more than respectable.

Im just a bit worried about pumping too much volts through it and making it go pop. Cant really afford another £200 for a new card. I need a new bike first. :)

Pretty much. :p Its a shame really because pitcairn is a great gpu name but i guess people don't buy a gpu because it sounds good. Otherwise everyone would be buying Tahiti surely. :p

I promise you this though, if i win the lottery im buying you a 7870XT. :D

All scores updated men. Thanks to all for entering and it should be a little easier to keep on top of now the submissions are slowing down.

Wont be long before 8K is required to be in the top 25 :)
 
I was going to say, these tests were too easy for my 6950@stock as its breezing through the tests as they were in the 100-200fps, I think the ice storm test was going at 1000fps. Thats until it got to the fire strike benchmark, it couldnt get passed 15-20fps:D
