The same could be said (and has been quite often over the last 8 years) about Mythic of course :)

Though to be honest , I dont listen much to any MMO devs anymore, they usually only say what people want to hear rather than truth anyway.

Still enjoying Aion, its still the only MMO on the market left that I want to play and actually enjoy. Though lately I havent had much chance to play anything, family and work in the build up to christmas have been hectic and I havent had a lot of time to play anything.

We are also adding a few permanent benefits with this week’s patch. Soul Healing will be less expensive for characters of all levels, and we’re increasing the experience bonus that Energy of Repose bestows for levels 20–44.

While the above is an interim solution, we will be addressing the character progression experience curve with a sizeable patch next year. We look forward to hearing your comments, and we hope you have fun during these bonus weekends. Make sure to tell your friends —the more the merrier!

I'd imagine a lot of people are well beyond Lv35 but this will be a chance to quickly boost your alts! :)

none of my chars are past 35 :D

can I ask you though, seriously how did you 'obtain' all the yellow shiny armour and weapons ? have you been dabbling in RMT? are they crafted ? oh !! and only 6 kills ?? haha !!! I've just this second hit lvl 24 on my chanter and i have 4 kills !!! charvel the marvel !!!

While Aion was fun in some places there was just too much grind imo. I think Aion should have only 40 levels. At lvl 50 there is almost nothing to do, DP is fun first few times so is Draconian. Abyss sieges are fun too when you actually are in a good legion but been there and done it few times, I can see this getting very repetitive quickly.

well I'm the kind of player who doesnt care about reaching the max level quick, nor do I crave to complete everything soon as possible. I like to take my time so I enjoy the experience of levelling with no pressure, I like to test out the classes and see what they offer.

I'll probably get my first level 50 in about 6 months, this means I will get value for money from my subscription and not have to worry about lack of content at the end game, it also means I benefit from future patches that fix the problems currently hindering end level stuff... I have no sympathy for any powerlevelling noobs with nothing to do !! :p

Well I hit 50 about 5-6 weeks after the game was launched. I purely grinded my heart out. I made about 60 mil from 42-50 grinding. Got to remember back then 46/50 stigmas were very rare as so few people farming them, so they sold for mega wonga. Also the fluxes, back then I could get 800k per one, now only 400k.

Got all the gold items from broker and I have never dabbled in RMT. Not crafted items they drop. I level him purely in the abyss and the only people I seem to have come near me are 40 + so thats why the low kill ratio lol.

think the most cash I've mustered at one time was about 2million .. your cash makes me cry !
 
Damn double XP is when I'm working :( might have to spend all of Sunday grinding! Really need to level up damn uni work is doing my nut, will have more time to play soon, still havent got my main character to level 25 even lol. Ah well slowly but surely.

what was funny was they didnt even tell you half the patch updates before hand, they suddenly edited it out to show it after the update :P guess this was are Aion christmas present?

OT: Came to OC to build a new PC entirely for aion heres my main :P I was on spatalos before hand but queing times made me roll somewhere else :)

Anyone still playing this? So I quit ages ago and I've just checked aionsource as I am bored and what can I see there? No crying about bots at all but every few posts people complain about hacked accounts instead and about how hard it is to get anything done about it and that the support and help getting their hacked accounts is not there.

Theres still Bots only they travel in packs and attack you in packs :p

There's been the usual phishing scams telling players to login to some blag Aion site and collect some form of rewards, which if people do they only have themselves to blame !

Double Xp thes weekend starting around 8pm on friday !! woohoo !!

patch 1.9 is just around the corner 'woohoo' which introduces tons of new updated features allowing you to combine weapons to suit your style, new wings, Stigma vendors - yes no more 15-30million K for a rare stigma as these go to max 2.8mill kinah !! tons and tons of new stuff and most of the info can be read here Source

43% Downloaded I am. Anyone recommend a good class? In WoW for example I only played Paladin because they were jack of all trades. Are there any classes in Aion that feel as if you can do everything, and not bother with alts?
