**Official** Aion RELEASE Thread

This game has seriously dented my interest!!!

what's the point if you have to que to get in... for 4 hours!!!
If we had to do that in real life to go get a coffee??? would really really do it! for the coffee? or go elsewhere....

bit of a waste doing a create character early for only 2 characters when you can't even log onto those serves when its up!!!

This is BEFORE the launch week of an MMO. You know exactly what's going to happen. Stop moaning.

And yes I am in a huge queue.

You dont "have" to queue for 4 hours, you could try a lower population server. Thats one possibility. Like you say with the coffee analogy, you would go elsewhere, so why not try a different cafe (server)?

You could also not have gone for the headstart, queues in the first days of major MMOs are commonplace now, its not like its never happened before and is a surprise and shock to every player.

As I said above, WAR and WoW both had queues on their initial launches, its pretty much to be expected and to be honest, I vastly prefer it over just simply letting everyone in and having the servers go down every 15 mins.

Aww Server is full :(
was expecting it to happen sooner then later lol ;)
No Worries though, anyhow how is everyone else finding the game?
started getting into this myself after learning new things in the game i.e skills, crafts etc

They need to stop all the AFK shops so people can't remain logged in.

I don't think it's just the capacity, it will most likely be to stop the amount of logins at one time nuke the server. A steady stream of log-ins is so much easier to control. :p

Could someone please explain what the different type of levels for the guild mean?

Rank 1: You are allowed 30 members and your "tabardy" thing is the same as all other rank 1 legions - You are allowed 28 warehouse slots?

Rank 2: You are allowed 60 members and your "tabardy" thing can be chosen from a few pre-made ones - You are allowed 36 warehouse slots?

Rank 3: You are allowed 90 members and your "tabardy" thing can be made outside of the game and "uploaded". - You are allowed 44 warehouse slots?

Rank 3 is the maximum.

Also, I'm not certain about the amount of warehouse slots, but they seem right.

There are benefits to creating a successful Legion. You may not need much to start, but you will need to continue to recruit and grow in order to take full advantage of being in a Legion.

Legion Level
----------Kinah------Members Needed-----Abyss Points-------Max Members
Level 1....10,000.......0 Members...............N/A......................30 Members
Level 2....100,000.....10 Members..............N/A......................60 Members
Level 3....1,000,000..20 members..............20,000..................90 Members

Your Legion level directly affects items that you can purchase and use in the Abyss.

Requirements to advance the Legion level
- Costs for Level Increase
- Legion Achievement Points
- Minimum Number of Legion Members

My guild went to Telemachus and initially I was a little disappointed we didn't go for one of the more popular servers but reading about these queues makes me feel a bit better :)

Once the NCSoft Launcher Loads up Click File > Settings > Advanced & make sure its set to english then try restarting Launcher

Also queues Seem to be shooting down quite fast at mo

If i set region to NA then it will launch in english, but i cant then use my account... if i set the regeon to english and language to english, it launches in japanese..

i'm on spata nearly a 2 hour wait on telemachus you can get on instantly, dunno what to do.

re roll on tele and lose 10 hours play tim and my legion or stick with spata in the hope it dies down.

I agree queue's are good for server stability, the problem is the speed at which the queues move. If people can stay ingame indefinitly by making a shop then slots cycle a lot slow than in previous MMO's that had time outs for inactivity.

Yes WAR, EQ2, WoW all had queue's at launch but in the main part you moved through those queues quicker (in WAR case even quicker thats to a lot of crash to desktop bugs).

The queue problem will calm eventually, as people move around servers or quit.
