Yea people in guild keep telling me to extract level 47/50 items but tbh its hard when I know I am defo getting 500k or so. Got 2x47 whites in my bag -.- I am tempted.
Yeah, its a bit hit and miss at times. Mind you, on the plus side, a level 46 enchantment stone sells for 8 million on our server. So nice when things work out

What the ****? lol - I brought 11 level 51+ enchantment stones for 250k each on my server lol

Hehehe, you could make a killing with those on our server, I saw a lvl 56 enchantment stone yesterday for 12 million.
A lot have left, some due to bots, most due to the grind. They are increasing exp from quests next patch and the exp from mobs future patch.
Fibby - afaik it does. However what I would say it to duel with a friend wearing nothing. Dot them, then duel them again wearing full kit and see if there is any damage difference.

Still busy on my server, the lower areas are a lot more quiet as people have levelled up, but the areas that my higher characters are in are still pretty packed. I saw an estimate last week that estimated around 25-30% of the users left at the end of the free month. (as I said they would, not their type of game). Overall though, a 70% retention rate at the end of the first month is pretty decent for an MMO these days.
Quite a few people will have left because they rather stupidly didnt do any research into the product they were spending money on and found it to be something different to what they wanted. Caveat Emptor I say.
Just from experiances of playing warhammer.
You can get wings from level 9 and not all areas offer flight, but you can glide any where by jumping off a higher point and hitting space bar.

Well I took the plunge and bought Aion (on Steam) but am having trouble connecting to any server.
Something odd I spotted is that when I bought it, it was called Aion (EU) on Steam, but once I went though all the installation stuff and got the NCSoft launcher is is called Aion (North America)
Could this be the issue ?
If not.... any help would be grand as I've never had any problems connecting online to stuff before.

Weirdly it was set to EU already, and now I have changed it to North America (just to see) it's now calling the game Aion without the (north America bit) and downloading a bunch of stuff again !?!?
I've done a bit of looking and I see something about having ports 80, 2106, 7777 and 10241 open. Anyone here had to do something with that ?

Nope, I havent had to open any ports.
As long as the region on the settings in the Launcher is set to Europe you should be able to connect to the EU servers, irrespective of whether it says North America on the Aion listing in the side panel.
well I re-subbed for another month after putting my Spiritmaster on hold, I've since rolled a ranger and love it.. the little touches such as crit shots leaving arrows protruding from your foe is a nice touch, add to that the insane dmg you can dish out in a few seconds make it a nice change.
One thing I would say for anyone wishing to roll a ranger is be very very patient, until you reach lvl 19 you dont get many bow specific skills meaning you have to change to dual wield now and then. Once you get to 19 the class becomes deadly in PvE with mobs generally dying before they know whats hit them
