Oh my god, ANOTHER fudging game!

Think the demo will be out at midnight tonight? lol

I will be cacking it... I got a 37" samsung series 6 and a Onkyo 5.1 sound system in my room... This is going to be terrifying :(

Despite Hudson's' declaration that the game was over in the movie Aliens, the game is just getting started for Sega's upcoming Aliens Vs Predator title. Sega has announced that a multiplayer demo will be made available tomorrow for the PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.

The multiplayer map will star all three factions (Aliens, Predators, and Colonial Marines) in a three-way Deathmatch battle inside an ore refinery on a far off planet called Freya. The maps features lots of dark hallways that alternate between cold metallic surfaces and the wet slimey Alien resin with plenty of corners to hide in.

The demos Deathmatch is all about who can get the most kills in the match's time limit or who can hit the target score before the time limit is up.

The thing with this demo is, it's deathmatch. Something I am not interested in at all! I will be playing SP, Predator Hunt and Infestation modes when I get mine. I don't think deathmatch really suits the game style.
 
Demo is awful IMO. should have had Sp or some horde on there. Map design was a joke. Hopefully the SP wil be better. can see this demo putting a lot of people off though.
 
Really? I hope the MP doesn't fall over on map design, it had the promise of offering some awesome gaming moments.

I will give it a try tonight and take it from there.
 
Just tried the demo and I enjoyed it, only got to try the alien but it was great fun sneaking up on people and ripping there throats out :D controls are ok but i t takes some getting used to when running on the walls.

The original doom had more complex and better designed maps then this. Player movement is clunky, guns are weak. Its like some one took all the badly aged parts of quake 3 and skinned it with AVP then took all the speed out and made the controls crap.

This wouldn't look out of place as a 800 points arcade download....but even then it would still be just as bad.

As I commented before the AVP skins isn't enough carry it or mask the fact its terrible. Underneath the thin vale of AVP is a terrible game waiting to burst out (of the chest......ba dum tish:D). Although I'm sure a many will still accept it for the simple fact its aliens....and there's definite potential for atmosphere in the game.
