Same here as I have the Antec 1200 case and Ive got a WC system on my i7 setup...and its a swiftech Mcro 220 QP rad I believe as Ive got that exact rad for the reason for fitting it

finally got around to buying the 1200 to replace my LianLi PC70+ for my media server, great case and exceptional cooling.....my [email protected] idles @ 30c under a TRUE, was another 5-6c in my LL case.

the only negative i can give is that it's a little bit shallow in length, when you have 10 hdd's and 2 sdd's all that cabling in front get's a little cramped...but apart from that worth every penny.

Since i have an ASUS rampage II Extreme my motherboard is about an inch longer then normal ATX MOBO's so cabling is hard for the hard drives, LOL
 
Has anyone taken the top lid off the 1200? My power button is iffy. Sometimes it takes 5 or 6 goes of pushing and holding the button to get it to power up. I was just going to switch the wires on the reset and power buttons but it's nicely tucked away.

I don't want to RMA the whole case for a dodgy button.

I would imagine it is me you are asking? lol...

its a custom water cooling set up with an XSPC 240 rad (at least I think its XSPC lol), an XSPC 750 dual bay res/pump combo, EK Supreme i7 CPU block, 1/2" fittings with 4m 1/2" (OD) tubing and 2x1L Feser UV blue coolant. Temps idle at about 40C and never going near 80C when under Prime.

As for cable managment, the first pic was when I was using the air cooler. Although I have shown it, the cables are much tidier...I will take a pic soon and upload it :D
 
Hey all

I have a 1200 hundred case and annoyingly the black power wire for the fan on 1 of my drive bays has snapped, meaning that I cant use the fan at all, does anyone know where I can get a replacement fan & front panel (with the fan speed adjuster) ? Please help! :(

I've searched high and low for the drive bay / fan bay / hdd cage with the fan & fan control but cant find it ANYWHERE :(

simcut you could just replace the fan itself, you dont need the whole cage, they come out

In fact Ive just replaced all the fans (120mm) in my 1200 with noctua S12s and its great, even running on full its whisper quiet

I've only ever built one PC and I did that on my own intuition. Never knew you could get it that clear inside! Certainly didn't twig about routing everything behind the back panel. Proper facepalm from orbit moment that.
 
Cable extensions

I've been reading this thread while waiting for my order to arrive.
Will I need to purchase some cable extenders for good management?
If so, which ones?

hmmm surprised I haven't posted my case up here since i got it. will do later on once I've cleaned out the insides of it. 6 months worth of dust on the filters isn't a good look :D

The innards, cables a little bit messy around the power supply but hey it works for me :p

EDIT : after cleaning the filters it dropped my idle temps down 2 - 3 degrees so happy with that

These splitters are available so you can hook up all six fans but using only two psu connections.....but when you say they dont fit, are you meaning the connections are the same type? cos the white plastic connectors can be turned round and the fan connections can slot it the 'back'. They should fit though.
 
No mate , the connectors from my psu are black and have no pins showing, and the connectors from the fans are the same. there are 6 fans i need to connect as well so i need 3 of them do i? and thats if that connector above is all the pins showing, on all 3 connectors.
