*Official* Antec 1200 Case's,Builds,Modifications & FAQ's

All built will get photos up tommorrow, great case to work with, got my XFX 9800GTX (XXX Edition) and very, very pleased with its performance.. wasn't interested in the 4850's not an ATI fan, plus I didn't loose out on the price drop...

Antec 1200 turned on first time no problems at all and is running like a dream...:D Got a little bit more cable management to do and its finished, will get some more pic's up soon.....;)

i think imma get this case and a HX520 OR an OcUK PVA monitor......?

i have an akasa zen already.

Biggest bonus about the Antec 1200 is all the fans you get, especially the 200mm fan on top of the case...:cool: + all have 3 fan settings included.

im about to take a dremel to my antec 300 for cable management:p
 
I have to admit though the fans set on low you can still hear them for anyone that is a sound freak i would say buy the case then decide yourself whether its worth buying different quiter fans. However for the amount of fans that are in the case and the component fans too, its so quite even on loud it hums but is not that bad.
 
I took the plunge and got this case, ideal if the number one priority is space, it's got loaaaaaaaads.

The fans are quiet on low but if you’re really picky about sound you will hear them since there’s SIX that come with the case alone! plus the optional fan mounts, plus the psu, cpu, gpu fans etc.

With the fans on low (200mm one on med is also inaudible) I would say that the loudest components are optical drives>hard drives>fans.

So easy to work in this case cable tidy cut outs just great,got me the 8 pin and 24 pin power extensions from ebay these were a big help.Very quiet when fans are all on low setting not tooo bad on full.
Yes the side panel will go back on even with all them cables and molex plugs.
How come the americans get a free optional 120mm fan:eek:
 
I got the same power supply as you and found if placed in the case with the fan placed up it runs much cooler...;)
