*Official* Antec 1200 Case's,Builds,Modifications & FAQ's

Ordered mine..:D Have a look at this box opening youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whw1Di2Pc6Y this case is huge, loads of fans that now include filters, and you will have no trouble in fitting all your HDDs and your 3.5 drive ( 3.5 mesh plate is also included with the 1200) enjoy the video M8...;)

think it would be possible to purchase these seperatly so i can lump them into my 900? ive got filters but its very crude :P

I'm thinking of switching to watercooling and am seriously considering this, will there be enough room to mount the rad at the top of the case?

Why at the top?

There is a massive 200mm fan there.

Wack the rad at the back or in the front. :)

For those of you that have this case already does it come with an adaptor to convert an external bay into a 3.5" bay? As a review I read stated that theirs didnt but Antec promised it would be included with the full retail release version?

Thanks :)

Didn't Antec originally plan to release a version of this case specifically for water coolers with a 200mm radiator in the top? I'm sure I remember seeing pictures of it. Does anyone know if this idea was scrapped?

How big is the gap between the motherboard tray and the right hand side panel?

It looks very tight to me.

It's a plastic case, So installing watercooling would be hard/risky to do. Cutting holes may crack it.

This case is some gooood stuff!

Quieter than my last case and cooler!

Working on it was easy as pie and the cable managment was very good.

Only bad points I can point out are...

Noisy with all fans on full (well duh!)

I forgot to put the screws back in the HDD caddy.... doesn't matter to me as I have a new HDD to fit but might annoy someone else if they forget :D

Couldn't fit a side fan on the window with my TRU. Had to cut half a corner off the fan to make it fit ;):D

Kinda heavy with all your bits inside... Although this could be seen as a good thing as it will be harder to steal!

Other than those little things everything else on it is amazing.

Hopefully get some pics up tonight... just need to find somewhere DECENT to host them...

Cheers, Doug.

That's all I took before I started building. Got a couple while I was building but this was before I went out... After that I didn't take any more.

If anyone wants a picture in particular please just ask I will see what I can do ;)

There's tons of room. In my last case my molex connectors only just fit in but in this one there is ample room.

I haven't finished tidying the back yet as there is some duct tape to go in there yet and a bit more tidying to be done.

Here's a pic:

One thing you will need with the Corsair 620HX is this

Luckily I ordered one before hand just in case ;)

Thanks :)

After watching the you tube video of some guy unboxing the case I'm sure I saw one with the bits and bobs that come with the case :)

Excellent pictures "Dougiebabe2003" Have you got any pics showing the front of the case with all your components installed...;)

3.5" bay comes with the case.

Will get more pics tomorrow ;)

Side panel goes on but with a bit of "persuading". When I have the time I will move them so they are more spaced out but it does go on with them like that.

Watercooling

Just got this case and its too small for my needs:( tried my thermochil p120.2 and its far too big to fit internally on the rear two fans. Lucky I had still got a swiftech 240 rad and that seem to fit ok. Not too sure if I am even going to use this case for a build now as I really wanted to use my thermochil rad.
