The A8N prem has real problems with voltages on X2. I have my 4400 at 2577Mhz with vcore voltage set a 1.4v. However this gives a real voltage of anywhere between 1.39 and 1.424v.
At 1.5v a I think mine did 2670mhz but turned the settings down to be able to run my CPU fan at 1600rpm.
The latest 1009.004 beta gives a bit more stability on voltages and may give you a higher vcore
I have a zalman fatatility on mine, fits no problem. I used to have the smaller 7000cu version before that aswell.sumang007 said:Hey,
Forgot to ask, is anyone using a Zalman cooler with their board? I had to fit mine in a rather ghetto way with custom screws because I didn't want to pull off the Asus backing plate which seemed to be glued on?! So I couldn't fit the zalman custom backplate...
Cheers,
Suman

Yeah i read something along those lines when i first built it up, but decided to leave the molex plugged in anyhow, i havent tried it without, but it runs rock solid stable so just left it as you see in the pictureACPCUP said:I notice you have the Molex connector connected by the graphics card mate. I read in the booklet that you only need to connect it to a molex if you are using the board in SLi mode.
