Looking at the spray it probably was the right call. Thought the safety car might be out longer and you'd potentially get the benefits in the last few laps

What a race - very stressful at the end with Max so close to Lando

You have to think in dry hot conditions the McLaren is going to dominate if the rain is the big equaliser.

Impressed with Lando. First race stress, rain, many restarts, changing conditions and a mistake but he still held it together. McLaren made the right calls too. Great start.
