*** Official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Thread ***

good news on harvest day and oasis..my one main dislike about bc2 multiplayers was then the maps never felt as open as the likes of harvest day where you always felt there was room to manouvre you tank

put in about 100hrs on BC2 but its not even close to what i got on BF2 on pc whwich was over 2000hrs lol
 
Has anyone noticed some of the bomb spots have moved, White Pass for instance after the first base they are now outside the houses! Not sure if its a bug or intended, did make the game better though lol
 
White Pass was always a funny one though. The 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th M-COM stations could all be squashed by destruction 2.0. Guess they thought it was too easy. :D
 
Clocked up over 100 hours on this game i love it !!

Not played it for a good few months though.

I have the urge to start playing again :D

Its really is a awesome on line fps !!
 
Had a quick go on this the other day pre patch the first 5 games I was dropped into were all Port Valdez Rush atrocities. I don't think the M-COM weapon damage change is going to be positive there.

That map was great for the Destruction 2.0 kills achievement especially the last B M-COM iirc as it was also a spawn :p
 
Seems that not many people have the patch yet as when I tried to play earlier with a mate we were the only 2 in every game, odd person joined and left fairl quickly lol

yup its just so nice to jump in a game and not be spawn killed as soon as your feet hit the ground :D yes black ops am looking at you

They need to do something about the helis, it's still practically impossible to take a decent pilot down.
I don't understand why they ever removed the LMG damage from BFBC1, it meant the helis couldnt be ridiculously dominant. I'd like to see that back again.
I think it spoils Oasis on BFBC2, the rest of the levels work well though.
 
What are everyones thoughts a week or so on?

My favourite is definately Oasis, I like the mix up of vehicles to urban combat. Heavy Metal I have had a couple of good games on but really feels like it should be 16v16+, Harvest Day is good and have a fair amount of decent games on it but again maybe 16v16. Cold War have not really played much but the few games I have played knowone seemed to make it down that first hill when we were defending but managed it a few times when attacking. I played them all in Rush mode except Heavy Metal obviously.

Anyone else?
 
Well Im putting this away now, got l4d 2 on order to do me before vietnam. Its very rare to play any map on a server with over 16 people unless its harvest day or oasis. Which means people are just playing these 2 maps. They have nerfed the tracer system and the amount of times Ive seen spawn killing apaches on oasis is getting beyond the joke and they are nigh on impossible to shoot down.

Getting bored of the 2 new maps ('new') and getting bored of over powered apaches.
 
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam gets 9,5/10 from IGN!
