In its short existence, 2010 has seen a procession of great releases on an almost weekly basis thus far, and Battlefield finds itself in good company. If you've been looking for a shooter good enough to supplant Modern Warfare 2 as your multiplayer game of choice on Xbox Live, you've found it. And with its strong, team-focused gameplay and an ambitious scale, DICE should be commended for working so hard to make single player feel like much more than an afterthought. Bad Company 2 is the best FPS I've played in longer than I can remember. While the presentation could be stronger in spots and DICE hasn't quite gotten the hang of checkpointing systems outside of the PC space, I don't see myself shutting up about how good Bad Company 2 is for quite some time.

Yeah that's usually par for the course what I meant was that people got that email yesterday but no game today. If they did get dispatched yesterday as the email said then some lucky few would have had theirs....but no one seems to.:(

Yeah I know what you mean but sometimes 1st class still don't guarantee next day delivery so it could just be a general busy time for the mail service.

I'm beginning to feel that this is all very bad news for me, I have a study day on Friday and an exam on Monday.
Being realistic, I think I'm going to have to factor in some BFBC2 time on my study timetable, I'll deffo stick to SP too until after my exam.
Online BF MP = Gamercrack.

There's a tech comparison on Eurogamer, looks like the PS3 version edges it, but in truth it's a rock solid game on both systems.
I like it when that happens, it stops fanboys hijacking threads.

It's also worth mentioning that they say the console versions square up to the PC version amazingly well.

MP without a doubt. Hopefully i'll be able to join a few of you as my 'usual' crew don't seem to be interested in this.

I would be up for playing with a few other ocukers over xbox live! I imagine a squad of 4 of us would do pretty well, seems to be a lot of battlefield vets in this thread who I would assume 'get' the game ie it wont be a pain in the rear getting more ammo. I never go engineer class unless I have someone who will ammo me up.

Definately MP - That's a good idea about the Tesco thing - I might buy it from them on Friday for £39.99... *shudder*

Then 28 days to return the 1-2 week expected pre-order.

Thanks for the idea! I miss the demo!

I can be that guy :p I normally chuck out ammo packs when I can.

I've got bad news! Tesco Cancelled my order just now! Would it be better to pre-order from game now or to just buy it on release day?

Yep mine has been cancelled as well. What a bunch of losers. I knew it'd either be a ploy to get more traffic to the site. More than likely a deliberate pricing error. This has happened in the past as well. They should have honoured it really.

Ah well, I ordered from Shopto.net, and cancelled my Amazon pre-order as it was £2 more expensive there.

Did you order just now? Or you've had a pre-order there? Just wondering which company would be likely to delivery on or before Friday.
