*** Official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Thread ***

Argh in the middle of my backswing! 1500ish Points and booted, sucks as I am only rank 2 anyway!

Bar that though very glad I picked this up, the single player is fun and the multiplayer is fantastic, IMO much better than Modern Warfare 2, and the first console multiplayer I have really enjoyed.... Infact the first multiplayer I have enjoyed since BF2 :D

Agreed, its a shocker. Esp. because some of the games can last for anything up to an hour and we had just got right to the end and I was sitting with just over 2000 XP and I get booted :mad:

Yeah, I prefer BC2 to MW2. on MW2 I actually find myself getting wound up by the way some people play the game/or I get killed/screaming kids down the mic.

But on BC2 its different, better style of play more tactical. I just hate it when you get a useless squad!!

Think is... your XP tots up as you play doesn't it? (I'm not sure about this though I'll be honest) Certainly you rank up and unlock equipment etc as you play so surely it doesn't lose everything?

Thats what I thought but I checked my stats and all my kills etc was the same as before I went into the match. Saying that though...if the servers are playing up then maybe even this is incorrect and you could be right :D

Turned off now, will check when servers are working correctly..
 
Sods law, postman didnt deliver it this morning, so on way to work nipped into a shop and brought only to find when I came home this afternoon the postman had been back and delivered it. So now have 2 copies. Luckily the shop I brought it from says I can take it back for a full refund.

Now to have a play (PS3)
 
ARGH! Bloody EA servers down as usual. Why don't these dimwit game companies just allow freedom of dedicated servers that don't require EA, because they suck for crying out loud. Am I fed up with "we didn't anticipate so many people to play the game at once", that's what they always say. Why don't they host more than enough servers, THEN if they aren't being used take the down and put them to use for something else. Rather than undercutting all the time, then finding out you haven't got enough.

This of course wouldn't be a problem if EA just gave over the dedicated server freedom to 3rd parties rather than trying to control everything. I suppose at least we have dedicated servers, unlike IWs foul up of a network.

EDIT: When they get back up and running add my gamertag: Nath O beaN. Would love to have a good squad to play along with rather than pub people that run off in every direction lol.

You unlock the Medkit, then the Defrib, took me about an hour of play, if you play medic till about rank 2 you will be sorted :D

Completed the campaign. Decent enough for what is basically a bonus to the multiplayer component.

Strange though that the last mission is the only one you have to do on hard, its also probably the easiest mission in the game!
