Solution: put £21 into ur bank, spend £14 on food and buy the game for £20.23 from the EA downloader

Make sure when u uninstall the drivers u also run driver sweeper and just have a look in program files, documents and settings etc to see if any ATI remnants remain then either try the 10.3 beta or the 9.12+hotfix as these were most stable for me.

Thanks Creed, I tried 9.12 (didn't realise the Hotfix was available unless it is packaged together from ATI website?) - This worked in singleplayer so far, I've just completely cleared everything out and re-trying 10.3 but with Catalyst A.I disabled... will report back.

one more thing were is the FoV setting they promised i cant find it ? also is it true that " can only see more of the map by changing it, the show of other players will be 55 fov and cannot be changed.. so you might be ending up whit i mid screen popup of enemies" ?

You can't get it for £20.23 anymore, this was by:

1) Purchasing through EA for £37 or something extaushionate.

2) Cokezone points/voucher to take money off

3) Vouchercodes.com (???) to get 25% off

4) Quidco to get the final few ££'s off.

I bought it last yesterday with 25% off and quidco and it works out at about £24 quid. But you don't see the quidco money for a good few months

Few others floating around youtube, do you use X-FI? I know users of that get crackling with it, other than that not sure what causes it, maybe check you aren't running any equalizers in your driver settings or w/e.

I have onboard sound.

I just check my settings file and sound quality was low, so I've put that to high and will see if there is a difference. That YouTube video shows it off brilliantly

I had to use D3D overrider with windows 7 and its done the trick! vsync working fine and no more tears at all

I have a 120hz monitor though so to use vsync properly id need to get a stable 120hz in bfbc2

They show up when you first join a ranked server. It had me going at first too.

Apparently not, people are saying the 'War (whatever it is)' setting sound good if not better.....

Im finding that the wartapes setting is giving me a headache ( or it could be my xfi doing its impression of rice krispies again thats doing it)

I was able to use the redeem code and am able to use the tracer dart etc etc, the only gun that isnt showing up is the M1 garand? type gun, it shows up in the menu but ingame it doesnt seem to be there.

Got vsync and AA to work without changing the config file etc. Read on the steam forums that if you have problems with both, select a different res in the game from your native one then go back to the native res and it should remember the settings that time. Looks far better now, although i still have a really daft muzzle flash which pops up at the top left of my screen lol

I read earlier in this thread there's a bug with it at the moment.

The FOV tweak doesn't seem to work in singleplayer for me. It the same for everyone else?
