Last i looked at the leaderboard the top guy was at 60+ hours :eek:

a lot of snipers just camp in a little group and dont help the team just caring about their score.
 
Any news on sniper nerfs yet ? at the moment on most maps it's spawn get sniped rinse repeat.People are sniper camping spawns not a fun game to play at all at mo.God at least give servers the option to limit snipers.

That ocuk server isn't fun at all it's full of mortar spamming spawn camping sniper types.

OCD for the win. People like that seriously get on my ****. Just ends up in bragging rights for some saddo who hasn't stepped outside in a few days. Though if thats worth bragging about then im starting to worry.

hm, i find you can't really get that good a score doing this : /

need to be where all the action is and get base defend/attack points e.t.c. as well as 100's of spot points.
 
No it's the snipers that stay way way back that ruin the fun, I can do it easily myself I was 0-10 then I swapped to sniper and stayed right back and was 5-10 within 5 minutes.Takes no skill at all.

You will be able to spot these people because they will be walking along with their hand infront of them as if they are holding a mouse :p

Yeah i agree... but it happens. Prob to mantain an impressive KDR?
 
Removing kill death ratio stats should be done will make the game far far better just have overall rank.

Any moron can be a sniper all the time and stay way back spotting and getting good kd ratios I bet some people only play port valdez too as sniper as attacking side only just for good kd ratios.

Remove snipers spotting points and make him crouch and stay still to hit anything shouldn't be able to hit anything standing up.

That's weird - I've got you on my friends list but I just randomly added you cause we were teaming up well on a server. Didn't know you were an OcUKer. :)
 
I wouldn't be entirely surprised if some of the ones at the top of the leaderboard hacked tbh. Though i suspect theres a lot of stat padding going on. We had some guy, fairly high rank but nothing like that, on about 45-0 by the end of 1 rush. How? He got in the tank, sat at the back, fired away, moment he took damage, got out and ran off till the tank Respawned, rinse and repeat. Some people are just sad.

C64... sniping takes skill... be it finding the right spot, judging flight time/bullet drop or staying hidden. Most snipers just prey on the noobs of a team because they're always the ones that stand still.

Takes no skill at all sorry the scope hardly moves, I killed 5 moving targets in 5 mins on ocuk server.

Bet you any money all the high K/d ratios are sniper only people hanging way back getting 5-10 kills a round.

Most areas have fixed paths you're channeled through and choke points so it's easy for a sniper to get a few kills from moving targets. I still haven't been killed by a sniper when going building to building or in the streets.

I agree with removing K/D ratio, on the consoles they don't show kills/deaths in the leaderboards of the current game your playing in, just overall score
 
I never stand still and often jump a lot and I get sniped left right and center.

So I have decided to snipe only myself sick of it all really.

Cant beat em join em.
