Can anyone recommend some good briquettes?
My favourites, Aussie heat beads, seem to be out of stock everywhere.
Big K used to be alright and I can get them locally. Any other suggestions?

Got a bag for £11 at Notcutts at the weekendI've used the Weber ones exclusively for a long time now. Can get them for quite a decent price (2 for £25) at Longacres garden centres if you have one near you.
Is that the bluetooth one? My neighbor is a mega BBQ'er and he uses this. I can track when he's cooking on my HomeAssistant and send him a casual "wanna hang out" textThe ThermoPro TempSpike 150M Wireless Meat Thermometer for Grilling is £39 at the moment is this the one you mean?

*****Thanks guys. I got 10kg of Bar-Be-quick from Go Outdoors for £12 which seemed decent. They had Weber for £16 also but after seeing what you guys are paying for them I wasn't having it .
Hopefully these are Ok for simple grilling. going to try tonight and report back. I'll keep look out for deals on Weber or hopefully Heat Beads and stock up then.
Cheers
It does sound interesting, but I don't think I'm up for buying beef that's been frozen and shipped from Australia when we have such good beef available here in the UK.Has anyone tried the brisquetta from John Davidson butchers? I've read it's meant to be really good.
