nope I think collectors edition = fail without a Big Sister figurine
I agree, after the success of the first ones CE I cant believe they didn't do one with a die cast Big Sister
There's just nothing apart from the Art Book and the Box itself that appeals to me about this CE and seeing as the Rapture Edition can be had for the same price as the regular version and that includes the Art Book I was never going to stump up the £60 (especially as I'm getting the Hunter edition of AvP and that's also £60)
I think that's a good thing though. I'd rather something have little/no hype and be a half decent game than massive hype which then turns out to not meet the expectations as a result of all the hype.

Has anyone who pre-ordered this on 360 got their copy yet? I know quite a few people who's PS3 copies have arrived but I hate the PS3 controller so I'm waiting patiently for the 360 version! Can't wait much longer

Don't get me wrong, i loved the first Bioshock and i'm sure i'll love this one but the MP just looks tacked on. I can't see people playing MP for more than a week before people go back to cod or move on to a better MP experience such as AVP or Battlefield.
I hope i'm wrong and the MP is awesome but i just can't see it
Hands up if you don't care what the MP is like and are just buying it cos the SP in the original was amazing and just want continue the saga of the insanity that is Rapture.

Now I understand that A MP feature (especially in the games market today) is an essential addition. However games such as this one with such epic, engrossing and novel narratives are why we (well I do anyway) buy them.
Take Half Life 2 for example, (which alongside Bioshock is probably the best game ever IMO) say there was to be a Half Life 3 (I know ep3 is due sometime) would I feel that i wasn't getting my moneys worth if it had MP but it was pants? No, the same with Bioshock 2. I agree that its sad that developers almost feel they have to 'tack' on a MP version to compete within the market but lets not forget that this is the climate we, yes us created.
