*** Official BioShock 2 Thread ***

with SC2 can summon security bots and with SC3 you summon Elite Bots

Hypnotize 2 can make enemies follow you and help and with Hypnotize 3 you can even et a Big Daddy help you.

Telekinesis 3 can pick up and throw splicers, lol

I'm in Fontaine now. Hypnotise 3 is looking handy to control all these Alpha daddies to get them to help me.

Game complete thought it was great. Played it through on hard with no vita chambers.

Just missed one achievement :
Counterattack - 5
Killed an enemy with its own projectile.

I've played a bit of MP, but don't know if I can put the time in for level 40. Anyone else still playing it?

I haven't even tried MP as there is no way I would get to level 40 anyway.

I have moved on to Final Fantasy XIII which will take 120 hours of my life most likely.

Capture the sister, it gets old fast though and becomes a right chore. I gave up after level 20 the lag could be hideous at times and the hit recognition can be all over.

Can be fun though if you get a few lag free games.

I worked out I need to play around 200 games to get to level 40 so quit. It was fun but nothing stunning when i could just play COD instead.

Its pretty good fun to be fair, just I cant really tell if im about to kill someone or not. Plus it ends up being two people chasing each other about most the time.

I did find a big daddy suit just now though - currently around level 8.

He's a PS3 bummer now.

Toying with the idea again myself, the Mrs bugs me often for one. I quite fancy the god of war series.

I was on last week a bit, saw you playing FFA and kept trying to join your games so I could come and kill you but it was constantly full. Then I got too much rage playing domo and went off in a huff.

It's the future you know

:D

Ah right I didn't see you on, hardly use the xbox as there's nothing for me to play. So just get on for the odd FFA and rockband.

I've a week off from friday night if you fancy some games and getting some people on let me know.

That happens a lot, sometimes you can kill them with a small burst other times when it's lagging you have no idea if you are hitting or not.

A tiny bit of lag and it makes the one hit weapons that you unlock later a nightmare.

Also when I quit playing it there were loads of hackers using god mode/wall hacks and they are hard to detect because they make sure they die a few times.

Note: There are two important fixes that are already routing through a future patch: For 360 and PS3, we will be adding a color-blind mode for hacking and we will be fixing vending machine sounds for all three platforms

360 PATCH NOTES
•Fixed MP freezing and connectivity issues
•Fixed lobby in MP when two parties, each consisting of five players, are unable to join the same game lobby for any game mode except Survival mode
•Fixed lobby issue in MP where the BioShock 2 Party falls apart at the end of a match when the host of the party is the host of the game in the Multiplayer Lobby.
•Updated both SP/MP and Launcher to find new exe and SP content fixes
•Fixed issue where clients are denied progress toward multiplayer ranking after a host powers down the console during an Xbox LIVE ranked match.
•Fixed issue where Filtering the leaderboards causes the leaderboard to occasionally not load.

PS3 PATCH NOTES
•Fixed MP freezing and connectivity issues
•Fixed lobby in MP when two parties, each consisting of five players, are unable to join the same game lobby for any game mode except Survival mode
•Fixed lobby in MP when four clients in a party lost connection to the party host when the host attempted to Find a Match
•Fixed issue where 10th player would hang on the game loading screen when attempting to join a 9P pre-hosted game using a wireless connection
•Added some PS3 beep crash fixes
•Added support for launching patched executables on PS3
•Fixed server TUS slot issue

I'm slowly playing through this on hard, great game, just as good as the original in my opinion, though the multiplayer seems a bit iffy, going to try to see how far I can get to 40, if I can stand it with the new fixes, I'll buy the DLC.

FINALLY completed it!

It took me about 2 months :D i played for about 5 hours first week and pretty much didnt like it at all. The weapon and plasmid scrolling in real time is terrible on the PC. You have to scorll thorugh so much useless guns it took ages to get the right gun. Control's just felt plain awkward on the PC. Too many buttons imo.

Got plain bored of the old get on the train get to a road block clear this level get to the end character and hop back on the train. Rinse and repeat. Also HATED with a passion making the LS harvast adam GRRRR.

Anyway i stoped playing it in February and randomly started to play yesterday. The last 2 hours were much better than the previous 5 imo and i was able to get through it without getting annoyed.

I got the best ending to the game god knows how. Over all imo this game was not a patch on Bioshock 1 due to its rinse and repeat level design
