*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Special ops co-op might be the thing that will swing me to buy this, it's all looked very arcadey and a bit of a spamfest in trailers so far, but co-op action is always good ;)
 
They said that they have improved the match making in response to people complaining so maybe that means it does it automatically......who knows.

There isn't an option to search specific regions / countries when matchmaking, but there is improved matchmaking to auto-assist

Their loss. MW weapons with a horde mode (doesn't have to be zombies) would have been as good as the usual MP. 8 players defending various buildings from being over run by the Taliban ;) would have been huge.

Its also an easy mode to bring out expansions and upgrades to as well as WAW has shown.
 
ODST was a Tuesday release aswell, theres no reason a Friday is better than any other day of the week.

Those spec ops look like a good range of extra depth to the COD pattern.
 
ive noticed the horde mode in gears is sort of being copyed in more games,like odst and also mw2 by the sounds of it,prob best thing about gears of war 2.

LOTR: return of the king on the PS2 had an awesome horde like mode. The style has been around for a while but I guess AI is good enough to offer an alternative to just online gamers.
 
I want this game NOOOOOOOOOOOOW the suspense is killing me,i cannot take it for much longer lol.I need one of those machines from futarama that will freeze me till its out
