if it gets released to people early though through the post could microsoft not think your playing a pirated copy and ban you from xbox live?
 
Nope, if it's a legit copy you can play it online Microsoft doesn't care and can see the difference. But Infinity Ward might reset the scoreboards/exp on Monday to make it even for everyone.
 
Shipped? 7 days before release day, smells like bull poo, its probably in some store room waiting to ship, like they do with all big titles.
 
Well according to Parcel Force mines scanned and being delivered today!!! I smell BS but you just never know, maybe they mixed up the release date thinking it was this Tuesday lol
 
Well I ran out of money so 1 of my 2 prestige editions have been shipped today.

It seems the hugely anticipated first person shooter Modern Warfare 2 could be getting shipped to buyers early in the UK.

****, the countries biggest games retailer, has been preparing for imminent strikes by Royal Mail the UK’s postal service. If these strikes were to happen, getting games into the hands of people who have purchased it may be very difficult, so the company are shipping in plenty of copies of Modern Warfare 2 for arrival on release date.

This could mean though that if the strikes don’t begin until after the game is due to ship gamers could be getting the title 3 to 4 days early, which I am sure will please a lot of fans. Time to preorder from ****, me thinks.
 
That ultimately would be the only reason why they would be allowed to ship this early. Bit pants for those of us buying in store lol :p
