*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

This game is just really crap when not playing with you lot... I just cannot play with randoms anymore because they are worse then useless :rolleyes:

First game I played was TDM on Wasteland and what do my team do? Run straight to the bunker where they get a face full of RPG/Tubes and then they run straight back to the same spot and die again... this carried on for the entire game.
I stuck with it because we were winning (barely) and I was doing quite well, I shot down every UAV, Harrier and Hind they got, then a Chopper Gunner and AC-130 go up at the same time so I just gave up at this point since there is no way I can take them both down (it would take 5 stingers...). Not once did any of them help with the airsupport either.

Needless to say once the 11 kill killstreaks were up in the air we lost 7500-6000, 3200 of that 6000 was mine :o I would go as far to say that it was one of the more frustrating matches I've played with most firefights I ended up in were 2-on-1 or even 3-on-1.

Just the other night I was playing CTF and some idiot was moaning no-one was watching the flag (which I was) and how we were getting battered (no-one was running for the flag) I told him to STFU and do something about instead of hiding in the warehouse on Scrapyard.

Could someone answer me a question:

Last night on CTF on Scrapyard, I was killed by someone hiding under the plane fuselage that is outside the building (with the ladder leading upto the top gantry), I tried to go under it but I couldn't get under it at all. He was a level 70 10th and was hiding right under it. I couldn't believe it. Is this even possible or was the killcam fubar?

Also that match went into overtime mode, the start of that round went so laggy for the first two seconds (everyone was 1 bar, except the host) and when it was sorted they had touched the flag (rather interestingly it was the host who got to the flag). Something wrong there?
 
There is a spot where you can get under it, but I don't think it is the one you are refering to. Honestly with the amount of glitches in the game I wouldn't say it's impossible to get under the plane :p
 
wey they ****ed the game up again man. Yesterday when we where playing CTF i had UAV, CP and Sentry Gun on. When i got these i killed myself and called in my sentry gun. Then when my sentry gun killed people it went towards my streaks again. I no its supposed to carry on say if i had harriers on but didnt no it would help you if you started again
 
I hate school holidays. Playing S&D with my mate and every single person is sniping apart from us 2. All trying 360 quickscopes and throwing knife kills.

I have given up and now decided hardscope their arses into next week

Lag switch!! - very easy to make with a light switch and some cat 5

lol regarding sentry guns, was in a hardcore TDM game on estate last night, and the enemy team had about 8 sentry guns around the house, was freaking hilarious! :D makes me happy that i use cold-blooded most of the time
 
There was a game a while ago on quarry where i pulled host and my internet was playing up. By the time everyone stopped lagging i was on 19-0. Wondered why no one was shooting me back.

Cod 4 is like that with choppers. Whenever i get a chopper i wait until i die to use it so it builds up next killstreak. You can sit in a corner and it normally gets another 3-5 kills, bang down your airstrike and then its back to the same cycle.

Dont really like it tbh takes even less skill than mw2 to get high kills.
 
I stopped playing this game ages ago because it just annoyed me.

I played it again today with a "meh" attitude - I wasn't even arsed to aim down my sight and shoot. I didn't even run. All I did was literally walk around the map and pull the trigger when I saw the enemy.

Using the technique I got 32 kills and 3 deaths :p

I was fine but my live disconnected at 1 in the morning. I couldnt be bothered to sign back in thats why i went off with out saying anything lads.

Bevy you manage to get your capture card working?
