*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

I've had a 2 month break from MW2 - playing BFBC2 instead - but never quite got into BFBC2 like I did with MW2

have to say I'm loving MW2 again - its so smooth and fast paced compared to BFBC2 the increased frame rate is immmediately apparent
 
My new most hated perk is last stand. Seriously gets annoying when you're playing search,you point blank somebody with the SPAS and they drop to the floor and kill you with a pistol:mad: Yet another thing that should have been tested out and balanced properly.
 
I dont see the point in painkiller. They obvisouly new that the game was broken if they are going to respawn you within 10 seconds of an enemy :confused:

I played last night and the one time I wanted to spawn near enemies I didn't. I dropped a care package(which was a pavelow) near the petrol station on invasion and then got killed. The game then decides to spawn me right back at the embassy. Needless to say I didn't get it:mad:
 
was anyone else getting quite bad lag and problems getting into games last night? i've just got homeplugs and they were working perfect, but at about 10pm i started to just lag and get disconected from host in nearly every game.
some of the games i managed to get into played pretty fine though.
anyone have issues last night? hope it's not my plugs but will be trying them again tonight.

the funny thing is that its always guarenteed to happen when its some thing like that
 
lol! last stand is the most irritating thing ever invented on hardcore team deathmatch, because i use my weapon very conservatively, i don't go round emptying my magazine at the first enemy i see, with the FAMAS its usually single burst and the guy is down (use FAMAS, silencer and heartbeat sensor!) hate it when you put three rounds in someones centre mass with FAMAS (which fires what? 7.62mm NATO rounds?) and they merely slump on the floor and shoot you in the legs with a pistol! seriously?

but my single biggest pet hate on the whole of MW2 multiplayer as a whole is freaking commando, sick to death of people seemingly 'teleporting' into me with a knife. im an accurate person and generally hit what im shooting at, but people with commando seem impervious to bullets...! :confused:

another serious irriatation is the amount of grenade launchers used in the game, personally never take the grenade launcher or thumper but all that ever seems to kill me is A) friendly fire (im a god damn friendly fire magnet, i **** you not) B) people using commando or C) grenade launchers, i think that accounts for like ~80% of my deaths and thats not an overestimation! :D
 
I think the last stand perk was right in WaW as it gave you a chance to be revived but you could still die whereas final stand is **** as you get people shooting you with a 1st weapon choice
