*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Traded this in yesterday

Cheaky barstewards at game were only going to give me £10, so i went to CEX instead and got £15 cash.

Going to use it against Halo: Reach tomorrow.

Hopefully see you all on Halo (for those that have said your buying it) Or in Black Ops :)

I've done the last 5 Cods on veteran, varied in frustration level and difficulty, but a good challenge and a great sense of achievement when you do it.

Hardest one for me was COD2 and clearing out the farm house.

Same as me, I've gone straight in on vet on all of them. I was going to say I think 2 was the toughest for me but I think I may have spent the most time at the ferris wheel section on 4. Can't decide between the two, 2 was probably overall hardest for me.

Can't wait for the rage that Black Ops veteran will give me :o

GRENADE...

GRENADE....

GRENADE, GRENADE!

And oh dear, you have ran out of hands :p You need to have the dexterity of oneshot dealing with a box of Krispy Kremes to get out of some of those situations.

I still remember going around Jonnys to have a go on his new TV, put COD4 on and tried Mile high club for a laugh and did it on my third try!

This was after literally hundreds of attempts on my Xbox. I went home that night and did it on my 5th attempt :S Odd

COD2 had some pretty lame game engine which seemed to have issues with hit registration, expecially as I played that one after COD4 and Waw.

COD3 I didn't even get the achievement as it glitched, the game is now ruined as I moved my Xbox with it in, sod trying to do that one again!

The underground silo against the clock was the hardest for me in COD4. The reistag in WaW, never finished that either. I was never a fan of respawning enemies until you get to a magic line in the ground.

MW2 had it right imo, a set amount of enemies to kill.

Finally got cold blooded back and now i'm just waiting to get scrambler pro then it's back to S&D :D
Does anybody here use ACOG scopes?I used to hate them but have been using them recently and quite like them now.

acog on the barret .50 cal when i'm on small maps, like terminal. i only use it on small maps though and it's a lot better than the proper scopes.
i just can't hit a thing with thermal scope on.

I think the fact you can put acog on snipers is a bit silly as it kinda defeats the point. But then again it's ridiculous that you don't get any swaying with it like you do the proper sniper scopes.

I find it even more ridiculous that you can look down a red dot sight on a Light machine gun with assault rifle accuracy halfway across the map while standing or crouched.

They should have made them hip fired and only able to look down a sight when laid down. Then again what the **** do infinity ward know about weapons balance.

Snipers should have been firing when lying down only as well.
I forgot about the no hold breath with acog snipers. Christ this game really is a big mess!

i much prefer the intervention over the 50 cal. That gun is useless just like the WA2000. Both peace of **** in my opinion

can't seem to use the Intervention. i prefer the rapid fire ability of the other three, using intervention i have to camp a lot. With the others i can just run around a kill people like using an assault rifle.
