Fair enough. I've done the same with Battlefield but I do post a lot of positives along with it.

But from those posts it just seemed like you were yet another person laughing at COD and the people who play it.

Surely it's important that people's opinions on the game are included here, whether negative or positive - especially from those who've played the game (and others in the series).

Why should a mod have to censor valid reviews?

My post early on in the thread said no "negative opinion unless you have played the game" which was a fair way to go about it.

we are not moderating it to the point where any negative opinion is not tolerated, but trying to be sensible and saying that "unfounded opinion in not allowed"

Trolling will not be tolerated, informed opinion is different.

if you have something to add or something you are not happy about, share it. but trolling is not acceptable

it will be left to moderator discretion what is and isn't acceptable

So no negative posts are allowed? Theres a lot of people on the fence about this and I am sure they want to here all the nitty gritty too.
 
All the cod sycophants on the news this morning made me cringe. Please for the love of God Activision drop the PC and leave it for the console, at least then I won't feel like a drug addict compelled to buy the damn thing.

ye it legit. currently downloading now. just have to wait for english pack. no biggy.
 
people dont mind people saying honest op on game but slamming it every chance for eternity is boring i get lablelled for it yet others do it all the time :(

if you like it dont like it no problem with that but people just putting up negitive stuff just for the sake of it is sad. the games actually pretty decent.

not cod 1 or cod 4 great but decent and fun.
 
Well im at level 32 of this errrmmmm game?

Massive fan of the COD games and have prestiged many times with them all. Im one of the saddoooos that stood in the cold at midnight to get my grubby hands on the latest release in the COD series.

So my verdict . . . . . Not a lover tbh. It feels more like a map pack than a new game. Graphics are poor, sounds are poor, voice overs are re-hashed (multi-player).

I will prestige of course :eek: as its a rule, however once done im back to bf3. Id say 2 out of 5 for this one!
 
Enjoying the single player, graphics look pretty good to me, low res texturing here and there but as long as you set 'native' in graphics menu thus overcoming the texture bug, then they look fine. Only played a couple of hrs but typical cod full on action with some pretty cool set pieces, much better single player so far than BF3's brief and rather lame campaign.

Multi also seems like typical Cod, smallish maps but quite varied, the lobby system seems to have improved from MW2, I've played 10 or 11 TDM's without one disconnect or failure to connect to host, in MW2 I rarely got more than 3 or 4 games on the trot without some kind of connection to host error.

Seems good so far overall.
 
one of thoes games I dont think I will bother with, seems to me that once you've played one COD you've played them all. The single player seems alright, but its seriously lacking in teamplay in multiplayer mode, I would much prefer to play with my mates.
