Far as I'm aware no it doesn't... Its like all other MW games, ported across from a console which needs a controller so I fail to see why they have to exclude it from the PC version..

Granted, kb + mouse players would cream gamepad players, but least have gamepad support for single player action.... Its nice to sit back and play some games with a gamepad..

Shame I say..

My copy is sitting here still sealed, Metacritic scores are mostly in the 90's for Xbox and PS3, which less face it is the game PC gamers are getting, Users scores are less than 3 out of 10 on average.

So does anyone have a balanced, non fanboi, non hater review of the game before I break the seal or just sell it on?

Bear in mind I've played all the COD and have equal contemp for the SP of last 5 COD games, but mostly enjoy the MP for what they are.
 
anyone else having regular freezing issues with this when in offline mode?
Virgin were doing some work on the line outside for a couple of hours, so i switched to offline mode, whilst playing SP the game would hang for 5-10 seconds every couple of minutes, it was so frustrating, however when the connection was put back on and i went back to online mode there were no issues at all:confused:
just wondering if it was just my system or are others finding the same thing. it not a major issue, as i dont intend to play it offline again, just curious is all.
 
i just bought it, said i wasnt going to but ive played every cod thats been out so i felt i had to..

i still think there some of the best campaigns ive done...

Yeah tried to use my pad and thought it was just me that couldn't get it to work.. shame really as like you said i'd rather sit back and enjoy it.

Ah well, still a decent game haven't tried out MP yet only doing the campaign.
 
Some MP questions:

  1. Are there still akimbo'd weapons?
  2. Are the grenade launchers as spammed (and easy to kill with) as in MW2?
  3. Is Commando (or a renamed version) still in it?
  4. Is Last Stand (or a renamed version) still in it?
  5. Can you still quick scope or no scope easily?

The only COD game that has official xbox 360 controller support on PC is black ops.:)
 
I am one of the few on PC who loved black ops it was buggy on release but the game has had the best support of any game i have seen. The game has had 16 patches the most recently today lol 1.16 only a small update but still it proves treyarch care more about the PC than infinityward:p do.


+ It had dedicated servers from the start.
 
Has anyone found a solution to the "Server is not availabe at this time please try again later please visit call of duty.com/mw/satus for updates"? Ive tried everything i can think of and still cant connect to the multiplayer servers, port forwarding, turining off all av/firewall, reseting router, refesh ip stack.
 
Finally got to have a few games after having a full day at uni and its pretty fun like the other COD series.

Anyone have any idea how I could join dedicated servers?
