some people think there playing halo aswell the amount they jump about...
They may have nerfed the grenade launcher and shotguns (SPAS is much weaker than in MW2) yet quickscopers are still racking up one shot sniper kills with ease. Why nerf some weapons but not others. I often find I am having to hit people three times with the SPAS to put them down, from not very far away.
If you've played mw2 this really looks feels or plays no different. Ive still yet to figure out how to get on dedi servers instead of this peer to peer xbox360 ****.
Dedicated servers aren't ranked so seem pointless unless you're happy playing with the weapons and perks you have now.
Well the problem is i dont see anywhere in game that actually has the option for them, its just "find game" which does the 360 routine from what i can see.

Well I was in two minds as to whether I should break the seal and install the game.

If you liked MW2, you'll like this. If you didn't you won't.
I've played 3 rounds of MP, I got even K/D in the first two and then realised how the Killstreaks worked and got 25-4 in my third round.
The game runs at 90fps maxed out, doesn't look any different to MW2, so I don't know what those advanced options do. But the graphics are ok and the gameplay is as unchanged as it's been for the other 7 games.
Then again I wasn't expecting anything else.
Mine cost me £16, effectively, after I sold the PSU it came free with.

When I search for games (not dedicated servers) the map in the bottom left seems to highlight all of North and South America. This is telling me that it is searching for games in those regions... How do I make it search for games just in the UK?

I bought it this morning and am happy with the purchase. Yes it looks the same as MW2 but I really enjoyed that. I suppose it is a shame that they didn't drastically improve the engine but when they have a formula that works I suppose they were to scared to re-invent the wheel - I also have BF3 and think that is excellent as well (see it IS possible to like both). It may not be a 10/10 but I am having loads of fun and thats what it is all about surely

I am sorry, i have MW3 aswell and feel it is exactly the same as MW2 in both graphics and gameplay the only difference is new maps and a new kill streak system.
BF3 is very different from BF2 from both Graphics, Sound and Gameplay and in plenty of other positive and negative ways.
I have both and like both, but if i was to say one was a copy then MW3 is of MW2.

I haven't played L4D2, but BF3 is no where near an expansion pack of BF2? It's a completely new game.
My point is that I'm disappointed with MW3. I like MW2, but this is exactly the same game, with even worse sounds!
