CoD could have at least made a slight effort and perhaps finished off Battlefield by releasing something which even remotely came close to what BF3 is currently offering.

Fair point. In my eyes CoD is still an arcade shooting game and the companies developing it are missing a trick by not turn it next-gen from a developing point of view. But I can still see maybe another two releases being successful and I am a sucker for CoD and from my point of view I will be sad to see it die, the possibilty of it being knocked of it's perch is looking far greater this year then the last couple of years but as I said I love how Call Of Duty plays and I always will support it.
 
How long did it take other people to install FROM DISC? I thought my PC was pretty decent spec but it took 35 mins to install. Is that normal?

I can see how you would miss them with the whole posts being in Bold and Yellow

you haven't come on here to contribute or voice your opinion, but to insult people, this is not acceptable.

Modern Warefare 3 graphics suck

We’ve looked into Modern Warefare 3 and I don’t think we should do any articles on it, would be a waste of our time. The game runs at 150 FPS on a GTX 570 at 2560 4X AA and max settings. It is the same old engine we’ve seen in previous Call of Duty games, DX9, low quality textures, created for the xbox and ported to PC, nothing special about it, no need to waste our time writing an article on performance in it.

Oddly childish approach IMO...

If the game is fun and people don't feel jipped then where's the issue? Other than perhaps paying full flesh for a rehashed engine...
 
This runs really well on my ageing system. x2 250, 5770, 4gb etc.. at 1366x768 it runs max settings lovely and smooth. I know its an old engine but it looks good and is fun to play.
 
My Asda order arrived today (courier), which is a day late. Won't be using them again for any pre-order as they clearly couldn't cope.
 
Well I'm enjoying it, the single player campaign wrapped up the story fairly well I thought and multi-player is just as fun and frantic as it ever was. No need to take the game seriously just enjoy it for what it is.

A game being fun doesn't matter to people like that these days. They hate CoD 'cause it's cool to hate.
