****Official Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 thread****

In the Campaign is there an option to turn off the console clutter - like all the object highlights and screen hints and writing and drawing on the screen in game? I loved both previous MWs but found the screen hints ruined the immersion. Deus ex HR had options to turn them off and the game looks so much more beautiful without them. Can you do that in MW3?
 
I love the fact you save multiple killstreak rewards and can deploy each one seperately. I'm loving the IMS it is basically a quadrupple claymore. You need to be in the right place before delpoying it so if you have a few kills streaks before you would have to just deploy the IMS so you could get to your copter, not anymore. Normally i just stick them around a corner in an alley and love getting 4/5 kills from them. I also like to use them as traps, leave a sentry gun out with a route to the back exposed and lay an IMS out of sight, makes me chuckle everytime, 'your sentry gun has been destroyed' followed by the high pitched squeal of the IMS and a kill.

That's because support killstreaks stack. It's the way they are meant to be.

Still to try MW3 but my source has supplied me with 2 keys to date, Fifa 12 (which was a eur key) and BF3 which was russian, both worked fine though I have to laugh about BF3 as I was able to go into EA live chat and complain (thanks to a tip off from a guy on here) and they supplied me with an English version (saves on language pack thats all). Still making my mind up on MW3 though, might get it tomorrow when I'm off :)

Honestly, having completed the single player on ps3 and put quite a few hours in the multiplayer. I wouldn't bother.
 
Anyone else having really poor performance with this game?

I've maxed settings and I am getting 40fps and it only uses 30-40% of my GPU...

Any setting which I should drop which will improve performance?

Have you tried the 285.79 beta drivers? they were mentioned on gfx card section here.Your 480 should easily play it at 100fps even maxed without any drop in fps.Also enable native in image quality.

The new drivers work very well for all new games so far for me.
