Yes. We should be alright just changing the FOV in mp?
Also to change SP t'is named simply config not config_sp, though you already knew that.

Yeah they don't just ban you from MW3 though, they ban you from all VAC games don't they? IIRC

That is a common misconception, VAC bans are game specific, not Steam account specific.

Cant see them banning for the fov, patch it out maybe but not an insta ban, i really cant see the problem with adjusted fov.

Wouldn't it be nice if they patched in the ability to change FOV. I mean it would take them all of five minutes.

god its made a massive difference already, screen doesn't feel so closed in, i know all the other cod games are fov locked at x but mw3 feels so cluttered and tight on the maps the low fov just seems to restrict the screen further

I mean everything square and static like the trees when compared to Battlefield 3 where you can every leaf moving in the breeze .... but i'm quite enjoying the MW3 multiplayer..

Well I finished the SP. Pretty good, standard fare really, corridor shooting galleries but fun enough to keep you playing and the story is trash but you just cant stop playing. For £5 I can't complain thats about what I pay to see a film and that is basically what you need to compare MW SP to, an interactive film. I don't give a **** about the MP though so if I had paid £40 I would be seriously ****ed at the length of the campaign. If they put all three campaigns together you might just be able to get the same length as SP campaigns should be for £40.

I think these titles should stop messing about and either deliver MP only cheap and/or a longer SP only for the same or slightly less than it is now.

its cool to hate anything popular . cods success is its own worst enemy

think the fov will be patched or allowed same as maxfps should be allowed.

Actually had some good games tonight, playing within a couple of clans and capture the flag. Nothing new of course, though good fun non the less.
Got a bit peaved with some deaths, as those times my killers had a good few milleseconds jump on me by watching the killcam. Obviously ping related. Though started playing accordingly and settled in for some good rounds.

Time to come clean Dirtydog, by the way I was going on with myself earlier, you'd think I was a QS pro. Never have been in any COD. Sorry for being an arse.

After skipping BLOPS and hating MW2 i thought i was done with this franchise. Found a Russian steam key for £15 so thought id give it a shot.

Im really enjoying it, it just seems less frustrating than past COD games to me. Couldnt get on with BF3 but will probably play a bit of both still
