Tbh the Type-95 w/ Red Dot and kick is a decent class, slap on quick draw and sleight of hand and you have a class that will tear apart in any medium map. Other then that, Ump silencer or maybe the M4A1 for an AR alternative on smaller maps, the hip fire on the M4 is decent.

* Tree's that can fall over (tho i doubt they have the skill to implement that bit of code)
* £49.99

I know this is a 'Moan at MW3' thread but can i get some advice pls.

Basically I have a question about optimizing the sound setting for MW3.
I have an Asus Xonar D1 and Sennheiser PC360 and want to improve the positional audio.

In the audio options do i set the audio output to 5.1 or stereo? Also what settings do i need to apply to the ASUS Xonar software to aid in positional audio via Dolby headphone.

Reason I'm asking is that i still have issues with some of the positional audio, in that I can't place the location source.
 
this could be useful not tried yet but should let you use your own fav classes on dedicated servers :cool:

HOW TO: Dedicated Server List and Custom Classes

So there seems to be a lot of ingame and forum chat about how to enable the Server List and make Custom Classes for when you are on a Dedicated Server, some of us know how and found out by ourselves but a lot of people don't, so here's a simple little guide for all of you.



How to enable the Dedicated Server List.



1- Launch Modern Warfare 3: Multiplayer.

2- Select OPTIONS in Multiplayer Menu.

3- Select DEDICATED SERVER.

4- Set ENABLE SERVER BROWSER to ON.

5- Go back to Multiplayer Menu.

6- Select SERVERS.

7- Adjust FILTERS to filter out high ping servers or to select your favorite Gametype etc.



How to setup Custom Classes for Unranked Dedicated servers.



1- Launch Modern Warfare 3: Multiplayer.

2- Select PLAY in Multiplayer Menu.

3- Select PRIVATE MATCH.

4- Select CREATE CLASS.

5- Setup your classes as you wish, all guns, attachements, killstreaks, perks will be unlocked, depending on the server you join some guns, attachements, killstreaks, perks maybe locked out and unusable.



Hope this guide helps you enjoy the game, get the Dedicated Servers populated and the cheaters will have no one to play with but themselves, so far i haven't been in a server with nasty admins, silly rules or restrictions. It seems they understand that people want to play and have fun, not be restricted by an overzealous admins from Black Ops.
 
Cod 4...Loved it
MW2...Loved it
MW3....its crap. Im not a CoD fan boy, more CSS but I really really enjoyed 4/mw2...this just seems rushed, ugly and a complete joke to the pc gamer. the single player was good if not repetative and i like the story. the MP...I dont find it fun, I find myself turning it off very quickly and going back to BF3, And I hated BF2, even though Im not very good at BF I just find it more fun and engaging.

Really wanted to like this game :(
