im trying to find out - but I don't think you need a key

I assume you can get it through origin tomorrow am - post here if you find out different
 
i just opened origin and it says download beta for crysis 3 not visit a dodgy malware site :D

well just played 3 or 4 rounds its actually shaped up a lot better since alpha and is quite fun :eek: :p

hmm actually considering buying it now :p
 
Played an hour, just seems more of the standard CoD business tbh. Got boring very fast, never bothered with Crysis 2 so would imagine that was the same?

Spot on mate.Very COD-a-like and didnt hold my attention for more than 10 minutes.Typical COD nonsense where they flashing up messages your brilliant or how many kills you have. Everything thats wrong with ADHD gaming as I like to call it. They think you need constant reassurance and rounds last for 1 minute.

Well it will, a while back EA/BioWare specified about appealing to a wider audience and mentioning CoD as a source and that they wanted the income that CoD generates (this was before Dragon Age 2 i think) and now look at the games since then, pretty much nearly all of them have CoD-like characteristics.

Shame though isnt it. I was hoping for something to get my teeth into not 30 second rounds of die,spawn,kill,die,spawn,kill,round over.
 
played 10 min and done with it. Singleplayer might be worth a playtrough, MP mos def not.

And wtf is with the performance hit once u switch to MSAA 4x. Went from 60 fps steady locked to a whopping 17 fps on a 7970 OC'ed.

Melt computers for real with ****poor coding lol.

Man that's poor, MSAA 4x should not do that, period.

Try using SMAA.
 
Complete **** TBH, just like CR2, no change there then. And yes it is a beta but it aint gonna get much better with the games release next month. What a waste of time that was.
 
Same old same old and I don't even find it that pretty to look at, crysis 1 had much better graphics imo.

Even tried this "blackfire hd" mod for crysis 2 with hd textures and it didn't do anything for me.
 
I kind of enjoyed the crysis 2 multiplayer when I had a go in the beta, thought the map design was very good and just decent fun with the nanosuit powers (granted many hate this though!), however, since it is by EA, I didn't buy the game (and even more so since it is by Crytek) and even if I enjoy the multiplayer for crysis 3 I won't be buying for the same reason, will still play the SP another way though :p ;) Refuse to support companies that are *****.
