Currently reading Jeremy Clarksons latest one :p

Also: The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo - Stieg Larsson

I've just started Assassin's Apprentice - Robin Hobb. Another series I've been meaning to read for years :)

Quite a good trilogy in my opinion but then I quite like the two main characters.

Just finished Cell by Stephen King;

Not one of his better works but it fulfils the role of straight up survival horror adequately with a good ending. Actually had a nightmare about the Rageddy Man last night!

Literally just opening Consider Phlebas by Iain M.Banks so can't comment on it yet.

I finished Lucifer's Hammer by Niven and Pournelle last night, which was pretty good :)

Now on Storm from the Shadows, the latest Honour Harrington book by David Weber which is looking good (about a fifth of the way in so far).

One of my favourites. Make sure you follow up with the rest of the trilogy :)

I've just discovered that the person I'm borrowing them from has also lent them to my housemate. She's a book ahead of me but is a really slow reader :( i might stop now before I get really into them and wait until she's finished.

Read for the second time and within two days "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy which is an utterly amazing book and I'd recomend everyone to not only read it once but twice as you pick up so much more on the second reading.

Nearly finished "Reaper Man" by Pratchett, I'm going through the Disc World novels in a random order, but they are great reads and this one is fantastic, Death's "Bill Door" is a great character.

Finally I've just started "The Chrysalids" by John Wyndham, another Postapoc book but so far so good.

I love all the robin hobb books the assasin's trilogy is amazing, the liveship trilogy is not as good imho but the tawny man trilogy is just some of the best books ever..

I'm currently reading The intimate adventures of a London call girl and Love letters of great men. They are both good so far but I'm not that far into them. Previous book I read was The collector by John Fowles which is amazing, I think it must be the 3rd or 4th time I've read it now.

Currently Reading: Jurassic Park.

It's brilliant so far, and way different to the movie in a good way. I love the science behind it, the chaos theory explantions are brilliant.

The book is amazing, as is the Lost World. Movies are crapola in comparison.

Follows the same pattern as the majority of Michael Chricton novels to be honest. Always fantastically researched and on the cutting edge of technology they always had me thinking "yeah, this is totally believable". Jurassic Park was the first of his novels I read. I recommend working your way through his books if you haven't already, some of them are excellent, Andromeda Strain in particular.

I am currently reading Shadow puppets by orson scott card.
This is part of the Shadow series, which is about the character Bean, who first appeared in Enders game.
I am enjoying it. It is probably better than the previous one, Shadow of the hegemon but not as good as Enders Shadow, which was as good as Enders game itself.

Currently about half way through Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds. It was a bit of a slow starter although I'm really enjoying it now. Can't wait to get to the end and start the next in the series. So far very impressed by the world being woven and his general writing style.
