Having troubles, computer keeps freezing after a couple of minutes. couldn't even get out of the ship. seems a common problem on ATI cards

us or uk version,

at the log in screen or in my account page?

if log in screen , its saying EU server, but you can change that. on the right it saying (in grey) not playable and below in orange, saying subscribe, I click that, takes me to my account page, i choose 1 month had the same wording as you but then does not allow me to confirm purchase?

try changing it to us server, it might be cos u have eu selected, they dont go online till the 14th i think.

by these types do you mean mmo or soe?

MMO's in general, and probably Steamworks games. Games on release have always had a problem with keys/logins, so I'd just rather wait a few weeks to save my self the frustration.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the EUROPEAN servers are online? Or will we have to wait until the 14th if we want to play on EUROPEAN servers?

I hope not, because if the European servers aren't online - then everyones gonna play on the US servers and the Euro will be empty on Friday haha.

Backing this up also, 1 PvE and 1 PvP EU realm up so far today. I made a couple of chars on Reality Lost just to check out the classes, looks like it will take a long time to try them all decently with the tragic starting mission.

Just noticed that steam has the cd keys fixed, keys applied and sub setup so now i just need the patch. I was relieved that the sub part went smooth as i kept reading horror stories on mmorpg.com and the steam forum about how their cards were all getting declined.

Are any of you playing on the PvP server? I was fine with the gankage during beta and get a bit bored on PvE servers.

Well I've been playing like crazy tonight currently at level 15. Had to leave cos I have work tomorrow. By the time I get home in the afternoon, most of my league will hit 30. Which bums me out and now I wish I had taken the week off lol.

Anyway, here is my character as it looks now. And yes that was the name I wanted to choose for it. Google it

This character will be a Tank. Altho he currently uses Brawling, I hope to change that and get the Staff, Hammer and Dual Wield Swords as time goes on.

So with this only having a level cap of 30, is the game focussed more about end game stuff like say guild wars, or is it very slow to level up? Whats there to do once you reach 30 etc.

There's plenty to do after level 30. Go to the DC Universe Online site and check out the forums

The DC forums are a bit rubbish just now, they still don't even have patch notes up. Although i can't really tell that anything has changed since beta shut down tbh.

I went to the EU servers and must admit I should have went to the US ones. The EU one by midnight was looking rather dead, not many on at all, the cities felt deserted.

Character is only Level 10 so I may just jump to the US servers and create a character there as I gather they are busier than the EU ones.

Are the majority of the DCU players in this thread on the US servers or is it an even split between US and EU. Suppose I could run characters on both sets of servers and jump between them and see what its like population wise and make a decision to move to one or the other full time.
