How time intensive is this game? Can you play casually and still be able to take part in PvP etc without getting owned?

If you go into the PVE servers, you can flag as PVP anytime you want.

I don't think you will get those mate. You should have tried the beta. you're best bet really is wait and see if SOE/DC do like a free trial sometime down the line without having to buy the game first to get one month free.

Typical, i gave in and bought it on on steam and now Steam is giving me errors trying to get my key grr

after submiting my code, then relogin, it said i still had to subscribe, and the only way i could find of doing this was purchasing another month, when completed it says subscription fee 0.00 the next payment of 9.99 will come out next month.
anyhow 200mb left to download. The Pick is about to be born.
