CK6 did you have to redownload the whole game after the latest update?. Bloody launcher making me download another 10.8 gig :(

When I downloaded the game the first time round, it downloaded 12.7GB worth of data. But last night they released a massive patch. It was 11.3GB in size. So that might be why. But the servers did shut in the last 30min to resolve an issue regarding voice chat in game. But just be patient :)
 
Fileplanet has keys up for subscribers now. It NA only but apparently there's a workaround for that, just wary of signing up in case its only for beta weekends or whatnot. Anyone know if it gives full access or just the odd weekend here and there?

Edit - Nvm, i can't get them to take my money from paypal even though there's plenty of funds in there grr.

Ah so it is just a patch I thought I did something wrong and had redownload it all. Not that I don't have patience its just that I only have a 3.5 meg connection :mad:.


Bloodline I'm fairly certain it is a sub based game.
 
Anyone have the links for the client download and forums etc? I managed to get a key via other means seeing as Fileplanet didn't want my cash but i see nothing on the DCU account page with links after entering the key.

Edit - Never mind, a quick google got me the download link.

Cheers CK. All set now, client is downloading albeit quite slowly and i have access to the forums via your link.

I feel a bit like a kid in the candy store atm as City of heroes was my first MMO and the only one i played for years then CO was such a let down.

I don't think there's anywhere giving them out free yet and you had to pre-order before 15th Nov to get in the pre-order beta. I imagine sites will start getting a hold of keys to give out free at some point though.
