I have the STECS std mk1, and came from the CH Pro too… definitely a worthwhile upgrade.
The mini joystick has a zero deadzone, and the throttle action is smooth combined with no erratic outputs.
I’ve not regretted spending the cash.

Sounds good, I will have to wait for the MK2 now as they updated the thumb mem stick I think.

yeah, I believe that the thumbstick was mover to be under the forefinger.
I'm happy with Mk1 as that thumbstick is in the smae place as the CH Pro's was.

The CH Pro is a linear throttle though (it moves back and forth in a straight line), where as VKB is radial. Thus, the "UP" position on the thumbstick is always pointing straight up on the CH Pro, but dynamically changes on VKB- by around 40deg, or whatever the range of motion is (no such issues with the forefinger stick). One can get used to anything of course, but just a heads up. ALso, VKB is lacking the "Harrier nozzle lever" - a side lever/axis that is available on the TM Warthog, Winwing and Virpil throttles. Shouldn't matter too much if you don't plan to fly the Harrier, but just a bit of a forewarning :)
