Also...as I'm on my second run through now. Is there any way to save Faridah?

Saving her is just about being quick. I even managed to take save her on a non-lethal play through, though I reloaded and just let her die because, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop the bot explosion from killing one or two of the mercs (even if I had KO'd them first).

I didn't manage to save Malik either, and had to leave the bot as well as i didn't have anything to take it out with(never seem to have anything to take mechs out with)

I have all the item highlight options off and i find it much better tbh. Also have the reticule turned off which i like as it means you have to use a laser sight or scope if you want to aim properly.

WTH they shot you out of the sky IMHO they deserve to be killed in a slow painful manner sadly because I wanted to save faridah that wasn't an option when i did it but at least they got what was coming to them!

I find it quite odd on Hard Setting that you don't get an aiming reticule. It's also annoying that it doesn't highlight usable items. Mainly only because I'm forced to run Dx9, so the quality of some textures is really bad and its hard to pick out things.

On the note of usable items as well; I'm somewhat disappointed that not everything in the environment is usable. Eg fax machines, printers, etc. And there aren't any basketballs around to throw at desk sergeants.

Go into options and turn it back on ><

17 hours in and just done my first boss. First two deaths I pretty much blew myself up.

The third time I just shot him with a rocket launcher 3 times and then used the machine gun. He died within 40 seconds and didnt touch me!

I'm playing on medium.

Is there much of the game left?

This first boss is really ****ing me off, the game hs been encouraging stealth all the way up to it so I've just been wandering around with my crossbow and tranq gun. Now it seems I need a **** load of explosives to take down the boss but all I have is a assault rifle with 70 ammo and a few emps and concussions

I had the same problem and had to buy 2 inventory expansions to fit the rocket launcher.
Theres a rocket launcher in the DRB hideout and then there was another in the building where you fight the boss. I'm sure its pretty close because I didn've have the points to upgrade my inventory untill I got close to the fight.

First boss i think i just used 2 concussion grenades and about 8 pistol headshots and he was dead in probably 10 seconds.(this was on about the 5th attempt though)

I'm doing a stealth/hacking playthrough also on hard and after dying a couple of times I found an easy way to kill him. I had about 12 stun gun cartridges in total and I just kept stunning him over and over again (preventing him from doing much of anything) and then once I'd ran out of shots, it only took a few bullets from an assault rifle to kill him.

If you have no 'proper' guns at that point then there's a machine pistol at the top of the room on a box you can pick up.

There are guns all over that room, though you obviously have the problem of getting to them. EMP works wonders for stunning him while you get a few shots off.

Is it just me or is the Crossbow absolutely awful? This isn't the mini-crossbow of Deus Ex with tranq darts, regular darts, a reasonably large amount of ammo available and decent range before the shot starts dropping. You get 1 functionality, with an abysmal range and extremely limited ammo supply. I might just chuck it and go grab a Sniper Rifle, its not silent but its at least good at long range.

Is anyone else like me and playing it in little amounts to make it last as long as possible?

I'm hoping my second non lethal playthrough will be on give me deus ex will be as fun as it sounds on my head.

Not found 1 yet. I assume it helps compensate for the flight arc not just flight time?
Either way I really don't remember finding much ammo for it at all. Suppose I'd only need it for enemies that can survive 1 pistol shot and I need to kill them stealthily

The enemy detection is really annoying. A single bullet that hits them but doesn't kill means everyone immediately knows your exact location, regardless of Cloak. Same with grenades, doesn't matter where it comes from they know where you are. Also going by the DRB territory thing without getting detected, shooting people in the face, even if they can't see you, means they 'spot' you before the bullet hits and you lose Ghost.

If you've got the stun gun that works well on him found that out when I ran out of ammo for everything else :o

I can't pick up the Tai Yong medical card on the 4th floor of the hotel :( It's underneath the table and I can't seem to get at it from any angle.

Probably because I explored (and knocked out the guard) in there before I was given the quest. I'd rather not restart the game though. Really should have kept saves outside of auto and quick saves.
