Is there actually anything in their EULA about this? Regardless, so many people have done it I'd be amazed if they ban accounts. A lot of very unhappy people who part with a lot of money!

How's it running? Is it a CPU or GPU intensive game.......or both?
I only have an ATI 5850 but with Full AA and 16AF at 2048x it's smooth as silk - rather surprising really!
Only real issue I have is load times, last load took 1 minute 27 seconds.
I'm not running on SSD but my drives aren't slow either.
I am however running XP, not sure if that makes any real difference.
It would just force more and more people to pirate games.
Absolutely. I haven't personally unlocked it but if my account were to be banned for using a VPN there's no way I'd purchase all my games again and I'd be reluctant to send any money their way for future titles.
I'm a bit annoyed that console gamers in the UK get it before us PC gamers.

You're running a DX11 card with a DX11 game and then using a fail DX9 OS, upgrade to Windows 7!

What's the fps performance on this game? What can I run with Q6600 + 4980?
At a guess, medium settings. Not that there is an actual "medium" option but you get what I mean.

Looking at the performance evaluation on Toms Hardware on a rig like yours you might as well put all the settings to High and get 40-45 FPS.
Some dude on the steam forums was raging that his copy from GAME turned up but he couldn't yet play it because of region lock.
