*****Official Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution discussion thread*****

Does anyone know what triggers the husband of Zeke's hostage to give you the sidequest? In the leaked build I saved them both and he gave me a sidequest outside Sarif to meet him at his house. Then when I did it the second time he didn't appear at all. Now in the full build he again hasn't given me the sidequest but someone else I talked to got it from him before he returned to Sarif Industries.

Reflex Booster is awesome. Plus you get 25xp more for taking out 2 people together :p

I don't know but got his mission on my current playthrough, I wasn't detected once, knocked out only one guy, saved the hostages and convinced the mexican to leave without the hostage. The husband was waiting on the helipad and talked to him there.

Also any one else with Nvidia having a tiny graphical bug on a lot of the character models where there seems to be little black or white speckles flickering over part of there bodies?

I was having this as well but the beta drivers i'm using seems to got rid of them I posted the link further up to the drivers i'm using

I have never played any game in the series, should i play the previous games to get to grips with the story or can i just jump in to human revolution ??

You can jump straight into it,new story/character etc...if you like sneaking around, hacking and killing then you probably like this game.

Actually if you like gun slinging and generally running amok, you'll like this game - you can ignore stealth entirely.

You can but why would you since its main part of the game not to meantion all the stealth skills you can get if you want......I'm doing bit of everything and its more fun that way for me.

running and gunning is a main part of the game also. it's Deus Ex, play it how you like - there's no right or wrong way.

Thats what I was told but I did talk to him and he said a few things but no side quest. I'm sure the first time I did it he talked to me outside Sarif after running into Reeds mother.

Exactly, Deus Ex was never about stealth, it was about playing your way.

Personally I go for a mix of stealth and brute force, way more fun.

Each to their own, however running around with guns blazing is not how I played the police station ;) ,sneaking around was better in that situation.

Getting annoyed with it now it crashes on start or doesnt start at all and if it does it bombs out maybe 30 or less mins in (Every other game etc is fine) giving up for now lol
