Thanks for making me feel worse :p

Been stable for me on both 2.40 Core2Duo / 8600GT and 3.6 i7 / 6950 so it's just going to be one of those things. Hopefully there will be a driver update or patch that fixes it for you soon. Can always trawl the Steam forums to see if anyone has the same probs as you.

2.4GHz Q6600 and 9600GSO. This pc struggles to run anything lately but its been fine too. FPS could do with being higher I think (my fraps refusing to show fps...) and I had some dodgy graphics in the Derelict Row with terrain but its running fine.

I'm quite impressed with it so far, i usually only play multiplayer games like bc2, race, l4d2 etc, so i've wanted a decent single player game for awhile.

Looks like i'll have to wait on a patch for this game, the stuttering makes it unplayable everytime i look at a new area

I had the same issues but the recent patch seems to have helped a lot, I also turned off triple buffering but not sure if that made any difference.

Most of my bugs like that went away after the first mission was over.

As for the guys husband Evilsod, apparently it's a discount you get with the weapon trader. But I don't know how to trigger it. I saved his wife, but never got to meet with him for some reason :(

Have you read the email he sends you?

That could trigger it.

The weapon trader doesnt really sell a lot so its no loss

Anyone know where i can download the patch to fix the stuttering, or if steam automatically downloads it ? this lag is really annoying and is spoiling the game badly as i really think i'll enjoy it, but at the minute the lag is making me not play it

I have played it for two hours or so and am enjoying it so far. What's the average completion time?

Took me ~17 hours with all the side quests on normal(including the bonus mission in the Augmented Edition).

Having the extra weapons near the start thanks to pre-ordering really does help:D

Also bear in mind I went for the pretty lethal approach along with hacking and social augs. I'm sure going stealthy would add some time to your playthrough.

Yeah he sends you an email telling you to go tp his apartment. I got a silencer and some ammo from him

Really liking this atm. I found that turning the dof right up really improves the visuals for me for some reason.

I am trying for a non-lethal playthrough, but i remembered that i killed some guys in the prologue, i suppose they count? (i could understand if they didn't really)

I've put my first two points in to an extra cell and hacking.

Not nearly as much as hacking does and that is dwarfed in comparison to been an excessive completionist. I've not even finished the police station thing I've been given the achievements for 50 hacking and 50 takedowns already.
